We went down with friends and family to go to the Hunting show in Harrisburg. The house was perfect. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Beautiful area and we had a great time...
The rooms in the house are very spacious. There is a farm next door with cows and the electric fence is close to the house. Just need to be mindful with dogs and small children. The firepit and gazebo were nice.
We had a lovely stay at this little country home. It was easy to relax from the start. We were greeted with the best mint tea we’ve ever had and a nice space to be together both indoor and outdoor. We needed kindling and Elmer brought it right over. This was an attentive quaint property and was perfect for our needs. Thank you again!
The entire house was infested with Termites the kids was scared to death. We had to leave the house. We return home with a 10 hr drive with no rest or all. This was far the worst experience that ive had.

Hi Latanja, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:
We are glad you chose our home and we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay. We can confirm you stayed at the home for two nights. On the third day, there was a storm that caused bugs to come into the home, we did have a professional come out and treat the home so this would not affect any future guests.
We do all we can to make our homes the best possible stays, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. Thank you for your feedback!

Liked: Location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Nothing like the listing says
The front door would not lock and the house was dirty. There is only one 25 inch TV in the huge living room with the A/C that made so much noise that you couldn't hear the TV. The stairs that is not stated in the listing was so steep that my dog feel down. The hand railing was not stable. The freezer had chocolate ice cream dripped over the ice and the stove was very dirty. I ended up not staying at this place becasue I didn't feel say to stay with my 2 year old and daughter. They only offered a 15 percent off the cleaning feel.. This place is nothing what it says in the listing.

Hi Chanda, we’re sorry to hear your stay didn’t meet expectations and appreciate your feedback. After reviewing your comments, we followed up with the homeowner, who shared the following:-All exterior locks were tested and found to be in proper working order, suggesting there may have been a user-related issue during your stay.-The stair balisters were noted to be loose, and a new handrail is being installed to ensure guest safety and comfort.-The cleaning team unfortunately missed the inside of the freezer and oven. This has been addressed with the team to help prevent future oversights. At Evolve, we take guest concerns seriously and aim to provide a fair and thoughtful resolution in every case. We believe a refund toward the cleaning fee was a reasonable effort to address the issues noted.Thank you for taking the time to leave your review!
We booked this house in Elizabethville during a visit to family in the area (Halifax). Hotels are not readily available within a close proximity, plus we wanted a house to allow us to spend time together.
Overall, we had a good stay at this quiet Elizabethville home. The location was great for us and is in close proximity to our family, the Amish auction and Lake Tobias (a must-see for all ages). There is a Wal-mart & Dunkin close by, as well as various restaurants.
The property is surrounded by farmland, with another farm house, a barn and a couple of cows also on the property. The yard was very well kept and there is a beautiful deck & modern gazebo with a firepit and table/chairs. We spent a couple of our nights around a fire outside with a beautiful view of the stars.
The house is comfortable and clean. There are a couple of areas that won't be as updated as a hotel or new house but it had everything we needed. Air conditioning is via window units, which can be a little noisy at times but kept the house cool. It has all you need to cook a meal, including a large grill and 6-person dining table on the deck outside. The bedrooms are spacious, but pay attention to the bed sizes listed to make sure it will work for your group. The living room was very comfortable and another nice space for us to hang out together.
We will consider booking this house again next time we come to visit the area.
Stunning views of Pennsylvania farmland and Appalachian mountains. Beautiful harvest moon and star filled sky. Great fire pit and outdoor seating. Wonderful spot to decompress and enjoy the world rolling by. Clean and provides as many amenities as any hotel, but with way better views and a ton more space. Really appreciated the coffee, sugar, and creamer!!
