Taking in Marco

What a wonderful time we had, the house was amazing. Comfy beds, couches, plenty of space and decorated out of a modern farm magazine. Great location - Will definitely stay here again.

Very clean, comfortable and well equipped home! The pool was amazing- heated to the perfect temp and we thoroughly enjoyed it!! We loved the lanai area with table which allowed us to have every meal outdoors!! The kitchen wares were all in excellent condition, a very pleasant surprise. We loved the location, close to many restaurants, mini golf and grocery store. Also, we very much appreciated the great amenities for the beach, everything we needed. The only frustration was having to say goodbye.

Tahiti Cottage March 2025

Our family of four had a fantastic stay at Tahiti Cottage. The home was clean, well equipped and and a perfect distance to the beach, restaurants and grocery store. The pool was heated and my teenage boys thought the basketball net was a great feature. Really enjoyed staying here.

Nice place and great location

The place was modernized and great location to the stores and restaurants. That said, the lack of supplies provided (1 roll of tissue paper, half a roll of paper towels, and no garbage bags) made it hard to maintain the owners expectations.
Response from VrboOwner on 25 Feb 2025
Thank you, Neal, for your review and for choosing Tahiti Cottage for your stay! We are glad to hear you enjoyed the house and its convenient location to stores and restaurants. We appreciate your feedback regarding the supplies provided and it sounds like you missed the additional roll of paper towels left under the kitchen sink along with additional trash bags. As detailed in our rental agreement, as well as in the checkin instructions, we provide a starter pack of supplies, including a back up roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, to give our guests an opportunity to go to the store for more of what they need for their stay.

Happy Home

Tahiti Cottage was the perfect stay away from home for us. The pictures are a great representation of the home. It is well stocked, updated, comfortable, and in a convenient location to everything. We plan to stay here again next year. We enjoyed our stay so much and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others. Thank you itrip for all those finishing touches.

I cannot say how everything was because i unfortunately couldnt make the trip due to my hubs breaking his ankle just before we were to leave on a girls trip. But...my 3 friends who did make the trip said the house was spectacular. Very clean. Very tastefully decorated. Pool was beautiful. They had a wonderful time.

Tahiti Cottage Marco

My wife and me stayed in this wonderful home for a week in May. It's beautiful, updated, clean, and well stocked with items. They owners have really done their research to make you feel welcome. It's close to beaches, shopping, and grocery stores. The home looks exactly like the pictures if not better. We plan to return next year and I would definitely recommend this one. I have no complaints here. Thank you itrip!

Great stay on Marco Island

This location was among the nicest, if not the best, houses we have rented for a vacation. Clean, updated, tasteful, comfortable. While it had construction occurring right out the back of the house on an adjacent property, it was still private and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Communication from the host was just enough for reminders and confirmations, without being bothersome. We'd love to have all of our stays be like this one. Thank you!

Very Nice House

The house was comfortable and exactly how the pictures depict. The kitchen island is gorgeous and really is the gathering spot. The only thing that I feel took alittle getting used to was the lack of privacy in the lanai and pool area. I didnt realize it would be so open however, once you get used to it, it's ok. Marco Island is a very quiet beach town. Once the sun goes down, not much to do. Also the mosquitos were out with a vengeance this year lol. All in all it was a very relaxing vacation and we enjoyed the house to it's fullest.

Thank you so much for the review. We are currently in the process of installing a fence for more privacy. Unfortunately the permit process has taken a bit longer than expected.

Perfect family get away

Our little family stayed here for 5 nights & it was perfection. The kids enjoyed the pool, everything felt homey, couch was comfy & everyone had plenty of space. My only feedback is the beds. The master bed is very loud when You shift in bed. We are light sleepers and it constantly woke the other spouse up when we’d move. The bed in the front bedroom is not connected to anything, so every time our son shifted in his sleep, the bed would roll, we had to constantly roll it back to be in alignment with the headboard. Other than that - everything was beautiful, check-in and check-out was perfect & seem less. We’d absolutely stay here again.

Great rental property

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this house and we definitely enjoyed it. Some of the beach equipment was getting a little rundown but definitely usable. Upon arrival the code to the house didn’t work. I’m not sure if it was user error on our part or not, but we had a number to call and they generated a new code and after two more tries it worked. The house has a great set up. Every bedroom has a TV and the kitchen had everything we needed. The pictures of the pool/back yard need updating because there is a two-story house behind this house now. It did not bother us at all, there wasn’t much action at that house.
