Thanks to you for being in my house and I’m really happy that you appreciated your stay. My house will be open for you when you want. Was a pleasure to know you and your kindly family. Arrivederci.
My small family (kids age 4 and 2) stayed at Ponte/Casa Novecentro Prato in the summer, and were very pleased the air conditioning worked great!Location was wonderful, many places to walk, and there was a very convenient taxi stand just around the corner. The only blemish to the stay was the tiny bathroom, which also did not feel the cleanest, even though water pressure was great.A mild facelift here would do wonders, maybe just tiles and re-surfacing.

Thanks , I’m happy you appreciated many things of the house, even if you wrote that the house is in Prato( another town in Italy) but I’m in Rome ..
The bathroom is small, as you can see from the photos online, and I don't think it's important to point this out. The house is in a historic building, built in the 1700s, and due to the thickness of the walls, it's not possible to adjust the size of the rooms. Fortunately when you are in Rome you don’t have to spend all time in the bathroom :-)
As for cleanliness, I value my guests' feedback and will take your advice into consideration but maybe you made confusion between the house in Prato and my house in Rome .
Gabriele was amazing with communication- the place was tiny but perfect for two! Quick access to so many little shops and food - we made it work with elevator not on every floor but we just rode up and then walked down (older ladies large bags)
Recommend !

Thanks to you for being in my house and for taking time to write this review. It’s unusual to find an elevator in a building historical in the city center of Rome ( many building were built in 1600-1800 like mine..) I’m happy that you found it and you appreciated the house. Will be always open for you . Regards. Arrivederci
We were a last minute stay as our plans happen to be very flexible. Gabriele accommodated us easily. Communication was clear and quick. The air conditioner was very cold and reliable. The beds were comfortable, the couch was large and good to stretch out in after touring all day. Very convenient to have a fridge, stove, coffee pot and microwave. We used her restaurant recommendations and were never disappointed. The only ‘con’ I could say, if I absolutely have to, is that the bathroom is pretty tiny. But for me, the good overwhelmingly outweighs the bad. I’m not vacationing in a bathroom. I’d one hundred percent go back.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm really glad I was able to accommodate your last-minute plans and that everything worked out smoothly. I’m happy to hear the communication was clear and that you found the space comfortable and well-equipped for your stay. It’s great to know the restaurant recommendations were a hit too! And yes—I totally get the comment about the bathroom; it is on the smaller side (As you have seen, the house is in a historic building built around 1700 and, due to the width of the walls, it is not possible to modify the size of the bathroom) , but I appreciate your perspective and humor about it. I'd be thrilled to host you again anytime! Wish you all the best.

Perfect location, wonderful service!
My husband and I recently stayed at this apart for two days that capped our 10 day trip to Italy. The apart location cannot be beat and the service we received from Gabriele was absolutely wonderful! He took care of our transportation from the train station to the apart as well as transportation to the airport upon our departure which was such a huge help! There was also a list of great restaurants left for us, as well as an itinerary for maximizing time in Rome. The apart was perfect for the two of us, well appointed, with lots of added touches such as fresh fruit, croissants, etc. We really enjoyed our time here and if (when!) we return to Rome, we will definitely be in touch with Gabriele!

Great location, very clean
This apartment is two flights of stairs up, even with the lift you walk two flights. The apartment was very well located, walk everywhere and the bus is nearby. The apartment was very clean. The bathroom is teeny tiny, even for one person. It has all you need, but somewhat difficult to use the commode and to get into shower. Once in the shower, it is very nice with good flow of water. Owner, Gabriele is very nice and accommodating, leaving a nice welcome gift. Excellent location, you could not do better. Wonderful overall.

Thanks to you for being in my house is for the nice review. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay.
Just to clarify, once you leave the elevator, there is only one flight of stairs, not two ..
the bathroom, it is true that it is small but I'm glad you appreciated the fact that it is functional and with a good jet of water . We are in a historic building and, in ancient times, the bathrooms were "external" to the buildings, so because of the very thick walls of the house, it was never possible to move it or enlarge it. however it is very functional.
It was a pleasure to meet you and I hope to see you soon here in Rome. I wish all the best. Arrivederci.
The bathroom was way too small & the shower was very dirty. The towels need to be replaced as they were quite old & stained & unusable due to a bad smell like they were washed in car shampoo or similar. We couldn’t use them. The bedding also should be replaced & the pillows were very old - they should be thrown out. I wouldn’t stay there again nor would I recommend this place to anyone. Only good thing was the location.
The unit was exactly as advertised, very close to Piazza Navona with easy access to popular places. The Pantheon is in easy walking distance, and an inexpensive bus pass makes the city easy to get around.
The instructions on how to reach the property were easy to follow and led us straight to the front door. Gabriele met us there, gave us a brief review of the unit (wifi, kitchen, etc) and left us to enjoy Rome.
This unit was very comfortable, with A/C in both spaces, a nice kitchen area and a small but servicable bathroom. The bed in the bedroom was large and comfortable and the pullout bed in the living area was also comfortable. Our group of 3 very much enjoyed our time there, and Gabriele was an excellent host. Highly recommended. Also, the restaurant Er Polpetta is right around the corner and we had a very good meal there with some old friends that live in Rome.

Perfect stay
We stayed here for four nights on our arrival in Italy. We have stayed in this area before and loved it. This apartment was a perfect size for the two of us but would also be fine for a family of four. The bathroom can only be reached via the bedroom. Also the bathroom is quite small but that caused us no problems. Anyone staying here should know that there is street noise but this is typical for this part of Rome.
Gabriele was a joy to deal with. His communication from the time we booked the apartment was always quick and pleasant. When it looked like our flight might be delayed he was willing to accomodate us even if we arrived quite late. As it turned out that wasnt necessary but he kept in touch with us constantly. He arranged a taxi for us, met us at the apartment and showed us everything we needed to know.
The apartment was a perfect location for us and everything about our stay was wonderful. We hope to be back in Rome again and would not hesitate to rent here again. Thank you Gabriele!
