About the host
Hosted by Ivan
I’m Ivan, a Roman photographer and graphic designer. Together with my wife Natasha, we look after this family apartment.
I studied classical subjects such as history, literature and art, which inspired my lifelong passion for Rome’s culture and everyday life.
We speak Italian, English, Spanish, French and Russian.
My aunt Mirella lives in the same building — she’s nearby if you ever need a hand or a bit of local advice — while we always respect our guests’ privacy.
Hosting is our way to share the real spirit of Rome: its rhythm, beauty, and warm hospitality.

Why they chose this property
This neighbourhood lies between Piazza Navona, Campo de’ Fiori and Via Giulia — authentic, central and perfectly walkable. It’s one of the most distinctive parts of Rome, where history and daily life come together: cobbled streets lined with cafés, artisan shops, bookshops and family-run trattorie.
Each morning, the Campo de’ Fiori market fills the square with colours, aromas and local voices, while in the evenings the nearby streets come alive with restaurants and wine bars. Everything you might need — supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries, and small boutiques — is just a few steps away, making it a comfortable and practical base.
Many of Rome’s landmarks are within a short walk:
- Campo de’ Fiori - 6min
- Piazza Navona – 8 min
- Castel Sant’Angelo - 8min
• Pantheon – 15 min
• Trastevere – 15 min
• Vatican City & St Peter’s Basilica – 20 min
• Trevi Fountain & Spanish Steps – about 20–25 min
Excellent bus connections on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II (just 150 m away) link you directly to the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Termini Station.
It’s a neighbourhood that truly has it all — history, beauty, local life and the comfort of having Rome’s best sights right at your doorstep.

What makes this property unique
Our apartment offers something rare in the historic centre: peace and authenticity inside a 17th-century palazzo with a lift, just steps from Piazza Navona and Campo de’ Fiori.
It combines historic charm — original wood-beam ceilings, stone details, a quiet courtyard — with modern comforts such as fast Wi-Fi, air conditioning in the bedroom and living room, and heating in all rooms.
Guests can enjoy a private courtyard patio for breakfast or a quiet evening, and a shared rooftop terrace with panoramic views over Rome’s skyline, including St Peter’s Dome.
We live in the same building, so we’re nearby if needed, yet we always give guests full independence and privacy.
Many visitors tell us they felt not like tourists, but like temporary Romans — and that’s exactly what we hope to offer.
