Step into history, staying in Daylesford's former maternity hospital. Just a one-minute walk from the iconic Convent Gallery,

Maple Daylesford offers easy walking access to Daylesford’s historic township, cafes and galleries. Consisting of two luxurious bedrooms, a generous lounge and dining area that leads onto a lovely outdoor balcony with streetscape views, kitchen with cooktop and microwave (no oven). There are split systems in each of the bedrooms and the living room.

Maple also features a Ned Kelly wood fire place, spa bath and walk in shower. This beautiful property is sure to impress and is in one of Daylesford's most beautiful streets. Don’t miss the olive tree near the drive, dated at 140 years. Dog friendly but no yard for the dog. Check out our companion property next door Chestnut Daylesford.

We enjoyed our four-night stay at this quaint cottage. It was in a great location, in a quiet street, and an easy stroll to pubs and restaurants – as well as The Convent and Wombat Hill Botanical Gardens. The hosts, Daylesford Country Retreats, were very easy to communicate with and the instructions for getting into the property were very easy to follow. The cottage was left very clean, with a welcoming bottle of wine on the table, the beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of wood to burn in the fireplace for at least a few hours each evening. We loved sitting in the cosy loungeroom in front of the wood fire, after walking home from dinners or a drink out. The online photos accurately portrayed the cottage, apart from the fireplace in the bathroom where there was a sign saying please do not use.

Relax away

The Maple Daylesford is in prime location, walking distance from everywhere. The old charm to the property and the DVD/TV to watch while enjoying a spa bath made our relaxing weekend a little more relaxing.
