Charming Cottage In Muskoka, on Lake Joe, Minutes from Golf & Winter Activities

This charming family style cottage is located on Lake Joseph. Sitting on the south west side of picturesque Hamer Bay, at the very northern end of the lake . A much sought after vacation spot on the Muskoka Lakes. With 1800 square feet of cozy living space, it is a destination sure to make wonderful memories. It is a four season cottage that has been lovingly cared for, and awaits new guests.

Rocky Crest Golf Resort is at the top of the Bay, and offers all season activities, as well as multiple dining experiences.

Enjoy this peaceful spot with your family and friends, while your kids and pets splash in the wading area or swim in the deep water directly off the dock. From sunrise to sunset the view of the lake from a seat upon the dock is sure to bring the feels.

The seasonal screened in porch awaits your morning coffee, great conversation and game nights.

There is a gas grill on the deck with a view that has to be seen to be believed. Fire it up, cook up your favourite fare, and take it all in. Being at the lake makes you hungry.

The unfinished basement space is home to lifejackets, a lily pad, ring toss, ladder ball and a ping pong table for rainy day fun. Maybe a game of hide and seek.

Winter activities include snowshoeing & snowmobile trails minutes away as well as ice fishing meters off of the dock. The cottage stays as warm as toast, and the monolithic Muskoka stone fireplace centers the living room. Sitting in front of a cracking fire will be a favorite location. Grab a blanket and a book, or settle in for a movie watching night. You choose.

The main cottage is fully winterized and comfortably sleeps 11 including three bedrooms, two bathrooms plus a loft with multiple beds. Kids love this loft, but it may be a challenge to get them to go to sleep. There is too much fun to be had after all.

There is a separate cabin which has a lovely front porch. It is not winterized. There is a queen size bed and a single trundle bed, plus a bathroom including a combined shower and bathtub.

Between the main cottage and the lake sits a cozy bunkie which is not winterized but is equipped with electricity and bunk beds for five. It's like being back at youth camp. Oh the stories this bunkie could tell.

One canoe and two kayaks are just waiting to be set into the calm waters of the early morning, or any old time come to think of it. Perhaps a quiet swim might be more your thing, or a skinny dip. It's up to you.

Early morning reading with a warm cup of coffee or tea are sure to be enjoyed while swinging around on the dock side hammock.

High speed internet is available in all buildings including reaching the dock! You are a 3 minute drive, or 10 minute walk to Rocky Crest Resort, where fine dining or golf awaits. Other golf courses within driving distance are Seguin Valley Golf Club, Parry Sound Golf Club and The Ridge at Manitou.
