I really enjoyed our visit. The view was spectacular, the home was cozy, and the massive fireplace added to coziness. The beds were comfortable, bed spreads could use a freshening. The kitchen had everything we needed. For being so close to Hwy 101, the home was very quiet. Yes, I would definitely stay here again!

Incredible, changing ocean view, easy path to the beach and an easy walk at low tide to Waldport!The home and furnishings are dated, worn and quirky for the price. However, the view made the stay.

Views for days! Loved the location, the privacy, easy walk to the beach, and quirky vintage decor. Had a little trouble with the internet/ TV but was able to get it working again after several tries. Otherwise, all was great!

The view was extraordinary and the main benefit of staying at the property. We found the listing of 2 bathrooms misleading. The 2nd bathroom is off the garage and not easily accessible (and cold to get to) so we basically only had one bathroom. The property could have benefited from a thorough cleaning. We tried to access beach from property but found that the trail was not well-marked and seemed overgrown.

Great place to stay

Awesome location, couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Less than a 5 minute walk to a great sandy beach. The house was very comfortable and had great big windows looking out on the ocean. Will definitely be telling others about it.

Birthday getaway.

This house is a charming 50s vintage beach house with a great seashell collection. The ocean views were great. It was clean and well supplied. We had a great time.

Everything was wonderful, from the view to the cozy living room and fireplace and quiet neighborhood. Only downsides were the vegetable peeler and hot pads need to be replaced as the peeler could not peel anything and the hot pads did nothing when I picked up a hot pan and burnt my hand. Everything else was wonderful!

Just What We Needed

Our stay was great! The view from the house is incredible and the size of the place worked well for us and our two dogs. The beach is a short walk away and really beautiful. As our dogs were running around on the beach, we got to see the seals popping up their heads in the water nearby.

Nice stay

We had a very nice time. Took a couple of walks on the beach with the dog each day. Easy access to the beach and a nice park just a short distance away. Very quiet neighborhood. Great view of the ocean. Comfortable home feels like a cabin.

A little odd, but a nice location on the coast

The property was mostly as advertised. There isn’t really a yard. 5 minute walk to coffee and the beach. Overall a good stay.

Location is amazing, with the closeness to the beach and the views of the ocean. Quaint home with a cool retro feel, but the sofa and sitting chairs could be updated. Not very comfortable anymore. Spent every evening at the kitchen table playing games with the family.

Awesome getaway

We had a great time, the view from the house is unbelievable, the house was very clean and cozy, but it is definitely time to replace the carpet and furniture upholstery it is worn out and stained. It was an awesome getaway!

Great location! Spacious retro home with great Ocean views. All the things are functional and comfortable. Minutes walk to beach. Minutes drive to stores and restaurants.Walk to the beach is from the end of the street. It is a good 5 minute walk. We missed that fact while booking. And home can use a thorough cleaning and selective upgrades, particularly the cabinets and countertops. The price per night is on par with the other homes. Based on the upkeep, it can use a discount.

Comfortable beach house. Completely private and quiet. Wonderful ocean views and a quick walk to the beach. Large comfortable living room with a roomy kitchen. Large front burner on stove was not working but everything else in the house was great. Even though the second bathroom was in the garage it was so handy to have a second bathroom. Weather was also very cooperative which made our stay even nicer.

Wonderful location

We loved our visit. Nice small place. The 2nd bathroom took some searching to find. And one burner on the stove didn’t work. But overall it’s hard to beat that view.
