What a lovely home, the host was amazing and left lovely little touches for us to enjoy. I would definitely recommend this beautiful home for your next stay.
The House was great, it was old world charming and spacious and had everything we needed. Kids loved it. Oberon locals were all so friendly - great little town!
We really enjoyed our stay — the house was spacious and comfortable, and the wood fire heater added a lovely touch of warmth and coziness. Unfortunately, the hot water system ran out quite quickly, and the washing machine was out of order during our stay, which was especially difficult with three young children. Otherwise, it was a lovely place to stay.
We spent a couple of nights and one of the highlights of the trip was our stay at the service apartment. Really nice well furnished and clean apartment with very good amenities. Heating arrangements were also perfect. Thanks
A lovely property - clean and warm and very close to the centre of Oberon. The owners were extremely helpful during the booking process and the little gift of local produce a lovely surprise. Thanks again.
Very easy check-in and communication with host. House was clean and tidy with an unexpected gift pack on arrival. We would recommend this house as everything went smoothly.
We were four friends, all seniors, visiting the area to see the spring flowers at Mayfield Gardens and the Rydal daffodil festival. We found the house very comfortable and welcoming. It has comfortable beds, good hot water, and heaters in all bedrooms to help with the chilly nights. The flowers and nibblies the owners had thoughtfully supplied to welcome us, as well as a generous supply of basics in the kitchen and bathrooms, were much appreciated. Communication with the owners was excellent with fast responses to a couple of small issues. It suited our needs admirably and we hope to stay here again in the future.

Thank you for the lovely review. I'm so glad your trip was enjoyable
Not enough hot water to bath, one bed is too soft, one room does not have a heater.

The hot water system is suitable for a large family and is sufficient, if used sensibly.
The heaters can be moved around and all rooms had access to heaters. Oberon is a cold climate, and plenty of blankets are available.
All mattresses are purchased identically.
Thank you for opening up your hour house.
Location was fantastic. Just a two minute walk to the Main Street.
House was perfectly clean and the sourdough, jam and eggs was a nice treat. Thank you.
Beds were comfortable and cosy and warm once under the covers.
Just a few things.
The door to the main shower and bath area didn’t close (slide close) so everyone in the kitchen could see who was in the shower from the large mirror reflection.
We were only given 4 towels even though I confirmed we had 6 people staying . Fortunately out of habit I brought extra towels with me.
Each bed only had 1 pillow per person . It would have been a nice gesture to have extra pillows in the cupboard.
The house was freezing at night (I know it was unusually cold for this time of year) but the small column heater in the lounge room didn’t warm the house at all.
I think in the middle of winter extra heating will be needed.

Hi Margaret, I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. Just to confirm, your booking was for four people, and you didn’t want to pay the extra for the two others, saying they would use existing linen. I will check into the sliding door, as we have had no other concerns with this. The combustion fireplace was stocked with wood and would have heated the home.
