Western Colorado getaway

Place was perfect, clean and well put together. Kids had plenty to do, including waving to the Durango-Silverton passenger trains. Bonus of seeing the Northern lights from the rooftop balcony at night.

Great animas location

The property is just as advertised, great spot near river path, walkable to Main Street restaurants. Beds were very comfortable after a long day of biking, nice spaces in and out, especially enjoyed rooftop deck for sunsets. Quiet except for train, which was actually a bonus feature. Would definitely stay again

This is our new favorite place to stay when we come to Durango. Great location - close to town but without the noise/crowds and right on the Durango-Silverton railway. It only runs a few times a day but it’s so fun to watch it ramble by. The accommodations are wonderful - it was great having the fire place for the first couple of days there were rainy & chilly. And the rooftop deck was just perfect for our last few warm, sunny days. We’ll definitely book this townhome again.

Great getaway!

This townhome was perfect for our getaway to Durango! Clean, beautiful furnishings, and so convenient to everything Durango has to offer. Viewing shooting stars from the rooftop patio was amazing! The river trail is just around the corner from the property and can take you in either direction for beautiful scenery. Would definitely recommend this property to others.

Spring Skiing

The 15th Street townhouses are perfect for our visits to Durango. Our whole family loves trains and this location is front row for the Silverton/Durango line. The unit is secure, clean and well appointed. Property manager was great to work with.

Perfect Spot

This property could not have been more perfect. The layout is so nice. We enjoyed grilling out and dining out on the back terrace. We enjoyed cocktails and apps on the rooftop at sunset. Just such lovely simple decor. They provided 2 parking spots in a very nice small garage. Cant say enough about this place and Andre, our accommodating host. Can’t wait to come back.

Great property; Great location

I’ll start with the only negative: parking is tight for a large vehicle, and the shrub at the parking garage needs trimming badly. Otherwise, inside and out this place rocks. Clean, comfortable, and great location. I didn’t have time to fish but there is good access to the Animas River out the back door along a public trail. Local brewery with very good beer five minutes away. Modern highly functional kitchen. Awesome views of the mountains from two well furnished decks. Not cheap, but well worth it.

Perfect location to explore Durango

It was a great place for two couples. The deck was so fun when the Durango-Silverton train went by. The upper deck was very nice but, it rained and we didn’t get to stargaze. Crud! Although, there is no view of the river, it is close and the fishing was good. The kitchen has all you will need to prepare meals and arriving to a clean refrigerator without left over condiments was fantastic! It was clean, has comfortable beds, was as described and the property contact was very helpful. If you are going to Durango area, it is a must stay location.

Thanks for the very nice review, just want to clarify that you can see the river immediately to the north of the property but the tree foliage does get in the way. You can see more of the river in the fall/winter when the leaves fall off the trees.

Horrible Host- beware!

I have never had such a horrible experience with a host of a property. After I checked out, I received a message saying that I was being charged a pet fee due to feces found on the rug upstairs. I didn’t bring a dog into the property and in fact I don’t even own a dog so I messaged back asking how could this be. Then he accused us of leaving human feces on the rug. Absolutely disgusting behavior from a host. I mean who says that seriously?? We were careful to take our shoes off when entering the home so I have no idea how anything got on the rug upstairs. Could have been mud or dirt and probably wasn’t even tracked in by us as it was also present on the back stairs which we never used. I ended up having to contact VRBO customer service to dispute the accusation- luckily they had my back. I agreed to pay an extra cleaning charge just to get this guy off my case. But he is nasty! I have never seen this kind of hostility from a host. Would not recommend renting here unless you want to get scammed out of some money for a cleaning fee for things you didn’t do

Our professional cleaners that we have used for years found poop stains on the rug in the master bedroom, verified by smell. This guest review is what happens when you try to hold someone accountable and make them pay for the damage/extra cleaning costs/rule violation. We not allow pets in our property and I asked the guest if they brought a pet into the property. If the guest didn't bring a pet in as they claimed, where else did it come from!? The rug was immediately removed and will be replaced. I think the rest of our reviews speak for themselves so please ignore this one. Not sure if this response follows the guest but for other hosts out there, we would clearly not recommend this guest.
