This property is not appropriate for families as there are a lot of items in the home that could get broken. It needs a thorough spring clean. On the upside, the laundry/bathroom is ideal for drying gear after skiing. 2 bedrooms with one king bed and another bedroom with two single beds. There is too much furniture in the home so it is hard to move about. Heating is by fire, which is warm and toasty, except you cannot turn the fire down, so it burns through wood quickly and only lasts about 2 hours before needing more wood which results in the home being very cold from about 3am.

Wish the listing indicated there was no heat except for a wood fireplace. There as a bird in it, which we had to remove to get the place warm.Made for a good memory! Good location, easy to get to town and local attractions. Comfortable furnishings.

The property was tidy and in a great location. 6 min walk to the playground. The kitchen dishes were not very clean and we had to prewash before we used them (this would have been from a previous booking not cleaning properly on departure) and is not a reflection on the hygiene of the property overall. There was a great supply of wood for the fire, which could do with a service as the vent becomes stuck closed. Otherwise the property was homely and comfortable.
