Enjoy a comfortable, clean and tidy classic holiday cottage set in the bush with stunning views over Waikawa Bay, out to the Snout and watch the ferries cruise by. Relax in the sun or snuggle beside a log fire. Wander down a medium grade track through the bush to the beach where you can swim.
A mooring may be available. The boat ramp is 5 minutes away.
We are a 10 minute drive from Picton.
Cafe and eatery at Waikawa Marina.
Mobile phone reception but no wifi.

Getting away and being close to nature is our mantra.

Fantastic Waikawa Bach

We had an absolutely awesome extended Easter staying here. The hosts were so helpful, property was everything we were expecting. Very relaxing watching the boats come and go (including the ferries), and listening to the birds singing in the trees. We were lucky enough to use 2 moorings in the bay below which made it really easy to come and go in our own boats accessing the amazing Queen Charlotte sound etc. Don’t hesitate book in and enjoy some true Kiwi Paradise.

Wonderful holiday had in this lovely bach with spectacular views. Very quiet with great access to the beach. Great wood fire. Very welcoming, friendly hosts.

Beautiful spot on Waikawa Bay

This very well-kept traditional bach was a terrific site for our last two nights on South Island before hopping the early morning car ferry to Wellington. It has a terrific view of the bay with a wonderful porch, comfy beds, ample kitchen, beach access, nice neighbor and great host.
