Great house!A/C worked very well in very hot Winnipeg weather.Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen and everything we needed and was well equipped.Would stay here again!
We loved this spot. Shayna was very accommodating and kind in response to special request regarding check-in owing to circumstances of our visit. Very convenient and quiet neighbourhood. Would highly recommend!
Great location appreciated all the amenities like coffee, sugar, spices, washing machine with detergent, lots of towels etc and everything one could need in the kitchen. Comfortable beds, fenced outdoor space with kids play structure. Temp control was very comfortable. There are no blackout blinds and the floorboards creak - hard to avoid in an older home and certainly not a showstopper - mentioning in case important for light sleepers. Overall we were very comfortable and would highly recommend!
Very clean, and great location. Everything was well appropriated. Thermea spa about 15 min away, The Forks area about 10-15 min away. Great neighborhood. We were very comfortable in this cute home! We found lots of things to do, but also enjoyed spending time relaxing at the house.
We really enjoyed our stay, as we were in town for a family wedding. It was nice to be able to stay in our old neighbourhood, and great to have a quiet home to retreat to.
Driving from the Midwest USA to Winnipeg was a great family road trip. Having a welcoming and comfortable place to call ”home” while we stayed made the trip that much better. The basement area was nice for our kids to hang out in (and our eldest to sleep in). Having amenities of a regular home (laundry, dishwasher, etc.) made us that much more comfortable because life with kids mean stains on clothes, washing swimsuits, etc. I appreciated that the beds were not the foam kinds, the linens were cotton and not polyester like so many other vrbos. I also was appreciative that there were actual pots, pans, utensils, added basics such as dishwashing and laundry detergent, etc. The neighborhood itself is a very nice, quiet, family neighborhood. The location was very close to restaurants and shops as well as the park (Assiniboine Park) and botanical garden (the leaf) and zoo. We definitely enjoyed our stay in the vrbo as well as Winnipeg and definitely would stay at this property again.
The location was absolutely perfect for our needs. Shayna was easy to connect with and helpful with an early checkin and after booking allowing for an extra night. The house was well equipped with blankets - during our stay it was a very cold Winnipeg snap.
Our family of six were in town for a Family wedding and wanted to have more space and freedom than we would have staying in a hotel. Our stay was affordable, the home was VERY comfortable and was well equipped for all our family needs. Great communication from the owners who were so lovely and understanding. We were able to extend our stay for an extra night and would absolutely stay here again the next time we are in town.
The wife and I stayed here for a few days with my parents and 22 month son. This was my first time booking a vrbo and we were all pleasantly surprised. Very nice neighbourhood and the house had all sorts of things you might not think to pack for a weekend stay I.e., Saran wrap, simple spices etc. Just about a block a way in a nice park and it’s a nice walk admiring the beautiful neighbourhood with friendly people all around. Will consider staying here again in the future. Recommend getting the VRBO app, it would make communication easier. Unfortunately my phone was out of memory to do so but I am sure it would help.
