Great location by boat and road

This was perfect for our Spring Break getaway. Close to everything and well stocked and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Nice Property for a Lake Getaway!

Great property for enjoying family and Lake Wedowee! The property is near the marina and also is just a short drive to downtown Wedowee. We experienced a few 'glitches' during our stay, but the owners were quick to address the minor issues as well as going out of their way to accommodate any of our needs.

Best home on Wedowee

For starters, the host reached out a couple days before check-in and was very helpful. When we arrived at the property, it was a beautiful home easy access and right on the water. The house was very clean and equipped with everything you needed. Plenty of room for multiple families and the boat dock held our family’s boats perfectly. Everything was amazing. I can’t wait to go back! The host was top-tier and a very sweet lady.

Overall Excellent Experience, Great Lake Location

This House was super clean, everything worked. Was able to easily tie our Boat and 2 jetskis to the Dock, cove has quiet water for swimming around dock, very close to Marina for putting in and loading as well as fuel. We really enjoyed every aspect of the house, relaxing, playing games, family dinners overlooking the lake. Will definitely stay again.

Wonderful Family Vacation!

Our first time to Lake Wedowee and what a gorgeous lake! Our extended family of 10-12 had an amazing time here for 4 days. 2 of our family members only visited for a day, but even if they'd all spent the night, utilizing the downstairs couch, all 12 could've slept here. The details of the home were detailed and wonderful, the kitchen had everything we needed, the host was super reachable and helpful and we plan on coming back!!

Lake Wedowee

We had a wonderful stay at this home!! Everything from booking our reservations until we left was a great experience! Stephanie was so nice to work with and checked in with us a couple of times to make sure everything was going ok. The home was beautiful, so clean, well stocked kitchen, great view and not far from Wedowee. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Family gathering - ages 16 to 59. Great property, loved the lake. Greatly enjoyed the big dining table with the beautiful view of the lake. Very clean house. Plenty of room. We had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Family Time

The property was absolutely beautiful!!! Everything was so nice and nicely decorated! It was cool so we didn’t get to kayak as we hoped. But we enjoyed football, board games and card games and a little fishing. A lot of space to enjoy. Very quiet and relaxing.

Perfect Stay!

We had the best getaway! A long time friend group (4 couples) who takes an annual trip, and this was the perfect place! The beds were comfy, the living spaces ample, the kitchen was well stocked, and the outside spaces were amazing! Stephanie was wonderfully communicative and was quick to answer any questions we had. We loved that there were spices available as well as many other basic kitchen needs (mustard, ketchup, etc) beyond the usual plates and cups. The house was clean and loved that there were not only bath towels, but beach towels available as well. It was the perfect getaway for us and can't wait to go back!

FABULOUS PROPERTY

This property is absolutely perfect. The layout, the rooms, the kitchen, the porch, the dock and deck and the location… there is nothing about this home you will want to change and you will sure not want to leave! The communication with the owner was one of my favorite aspects as well as how well the home is stocked with everything you need. The deck is attached to land so therefore you are not being jostled about while reading or laying out. I never knew what a difference that would make. This home is beyond 5 stars and I can’t wait to book it again!

Our stay at this lake house was everything. There was so much room for our family of 4. We can't say enough about Stephanie. She went over and beyond to communicate and make our stay everything we wanted. The home sits right on the water and it's incredibly cozy. Beautiful view of the lake and private, oversized dock was wonderful. No tedious outside stairs for the little ones and elderly - the walkway from the home to the dock made it easy for all of us. The home was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. Enjoyed the perks too - heated floors in the bathrooms especially. Made wonderful memories at this home. We will most certainly be back.

The overall experience was great, some things were different than the pictures due to updates at the property. The only let down that we had was no where to have a fire and cook snores. Also the directions that google provides to the property take you past the driveway and shows the property on the right instead of the left so we had to ask someone. We were looking right for the address and drove right by the mailbox

It was a beautiful, comfortable, relaxing place to stay, and we will definitely go back when we visit Lake Wedowee again.

5 stars for our host, Stephanie Rainey, and the property. We wanted to visit Cheaha State Park and jumped at the chance when we saw this Lake House for rent. The view of Lake Wedowee from the house is spectacular. It is situated in a small cove that’s quiet and safe to swim. The house is spacious and open with natural light. Everything was clean and the whole house had a homey, comfortable feeling. The bathrooms had lots of room to maneuver but beware the shower spray is strong. We slept in the main bedroom and it was extremely comfortable. The kitchen is a dream to work in, no clutter of mismatched dishes and nasty pots /pans that some rental properties collect over the years. Sitting outside, early in the morning, drinking coffee, you hear all the fish jumping in the water. It was a beautiful, comfortable, relaxing place to stay, and we will definitely go back. I had an issue with one of the fans but our host responded quickly and the issue was resolved.
