A treasured home in Hidden Valley

Soupcon is a very special private oasis favored for gatherings—having hosted rehearsal dinners, a bridal party, small weddings, and multiple holiday celebrations.

Situated on 10-acres of beautiful meadow surrounded by forest and protected by the Worcester Land Trust, this estate offers peace and quiet, tons of privacy, and direct access to trails that wind throughout the neighborhood. Spectacular views of the Worcester Mountain Range and surrounds can be enjoyed from the outdoor slate patio with fireplace, firepit, hot tub and well-tended terraced gardens. The yard begs for garden parties, BBQs, and formal and informal gatherings of all types. We've hosted several special events here and would love to talk about yours—it is also a favorite for multi-generational family vacations.

Inside, large picture windows frame the views and allow natural light to flood the home. Warm and welcoming, Soupcon is decorated to be a home away from home, complete with eclectic and beautiful art, objects and décor from around the world, a comprehensive selection of books in the library, a comprehensive sound system—the pool table is racked, ping pong paddles are ready, and the chess board is out, all ready to be enjoyed. The kitchen and pantry are fabulous—fully equipped to graciously entertain. A fireplace and comfy furniture in the great room invites conversation and connection. This home comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests with four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Additional perks include a fantastic home gym, a steam shower, and sauna.

Great stay for skiing weekend

Property was very clean and matched all photos. Location is ~20 mins from Stowe so was great for a ski weekend. In the winter remember to get snow tires!

Loved Soupcon

A wonderful property, we couldn't have been happier. It is cozy and beautiful, close to Stowe and a destination in its own right. Do note that the bunk room is detached from the house and the loft (with twin beds) is too high for young children (i.e., under 10).

This house was glorious. So filled with every comfort you wanted. We Did NOT want to leave at times

This was the nicest and most well appointed house we have ever stayed at. All 8 of us were in agreement. We loved the location and we purposely did not walk in the snow in the back yard so we could have a pristine view all week. Every small appliance you could possibly need was there. Every light bulb worked (this for me is the litmus test of a well tended rental house). We loved the comfort of all the rooms especially the kitchen hearth room (where we had a fire every morning while drinking coffee and reading) and a fire in the main family room every night with games and wine/bourbon. We used the pool table and the ping pong table often plust the steam shower (my partner and I were the lucky ones that were in the master bedroom) and the hot tub and sauna. It was great to come in from snowshoeing to the wonderful hearth room for a warm lunch and then relaxing with in front of another fire. Overall, it was just wonderdful.

Short Thanksgiving Ski Trip

Beautiful property in a serine location. Felt miles away from civilization, but only 10 minutes to downtown Stowe. 25-30 minutes to Stowe Ski Resort. House was very clean, well appointed, and uniquely designed. Everything worked as it should. Separate living area for kids above garage was perfect! This will be our first choice when our three families (6 adults and 6 children) return to Stowe again! Couldn't have been more pleased with the experience!

Spectacular stay at Soupcon!

Soupcon was absolutely spectacular! My family and I gathered there for our annual visit from San Francisco. The home is spacious, yet cozy, and the views were amazing. Perfect layout for entertaining, you could tell the owners put a lot of love in to every detail of the home.
