Welcome to the newly renovated Five Points Bungalow, a charming home with luxury details and an awesome location in East Nashville. Local hotspots are within walking distance and downtown is just minutes away.

Like any home, the kitchen is at the heart of Five Points Bungalow with a modern design, stainless steel appliances, and a large kitchen island with barstool seating. The kitchen opens directly into a casual living space with couches and smart tv. Your whole group can easily spend time together between these two spaces while everyone enjoys their favorite form of relaxation. Downstairs you’ll find a more private tv area with ample seating, perfect for an uninterrupted movie night.

Too expensive for what we received

I truly dislike long reviews. I hardly ever read them. You SHOULD read this one. After our stay, I gave Grand Welcome and/or the owner more than 2 weeks to reply to my emails about the property. They never responded except to say they are looking into it. Below is a list of what was wrong with the property when we stayed there. I feel all are relatively minor issues BUT add them up and the price for the property is not worth what we paid. 1) cigarette butt on the front porch (We don't smoke) 2) spider webs many places at the front porch and in the bedroom downstairs which is where we slept 3) grease on the hood over the stove. It appears it wasn't cleaned for quite awhile 4) Wi-fi and internet did not work properly during our entire stay 5) area rug in upstairs hallway is not secured. I personally slipped and nearly fell. I caught myself on the wall. 6) multiple stains on the upstairs couch 7) downstairs bed much too soft. There is basically very little to no support below the mattress and the bed frame is very creaky/squeaky 8) there was trash (used hair spray, I believe) under the bed downstairs 9) we asked for a late check out (2 hours) and it was approved by text. That was the first part of the text so to be candid, I did not read the remainder of the text. Further down it stated we would be charged $50 per hour. Overall we are disappointed in our stay.

Was not clean and now no response from property manager

Our checkin was supposed to be at 4pm coming from out of town. We arrived around 5:30 to a completely uncleaned house. There was still trash from the previous people, bathrooms uncleaned, dirty sheets, dirty dishes etc. we contacted the property manager and they did get a housecleaning lady to come within the hour however we had to wait around the house rather than going out and enjoying the town because we couldn’t get ready, shower etc and had to stay outside the whole time until she was done. They only sent one lady so it took about 2 hours to clean and change everything out. So our 4pm checkin time was pushed back essentially until 9pm. I tried to give them a chance to respond or give some sort of refund for the inconvenience before I posted anything but still haven’t heard anything regarding this. We essentially lost about 5 hours of enjoying the city in our short stay. The house otherwise was good and as advertised other than the top shower had little to no water pressure so we had to shower downstairs throughout the stay.

Excellent stay!

This was the perfect property in a great location. The property is updated and everyone had at least a queen bedroom and a bathroom. The location is only a few minutes to Broadway and close to some cool little areas in East Nashville. We felt safe and we had everything we needed to have a great stay. We will definitely be back!
