The host was incredibly responsive and answered every question we had. The location was desirable and amended the opportunity for easy access. My three highest complaints were: (1) the HVAC was not adjustable for the entirety of our stay (2) the WiFi was not accessible for the entirety of our stay, and because the climate control was thru a google nest, we could not change the temperature. Also, we realized there was no coffee or bath soap available in the space once we checked in. We had to make a special shopping trip to get these items. Overall, the host was helpful and responsive, but for the money we paid, I would expect for basic necessities to be furnished.

Nice, spacious two-rooms-plus bath apartment, in a great location (near local friends of ours). A large deck overlooks the leafy, upscale residential neighborhood.The host was friendly, welcoming, and helpful.The "kitchen" corner is barely adequate, though. It features a stylish-but-not-very-practical sink, a microwave, a satisfactory refrigerator, and a minimum amount of supplementary kitchen equipment.The "living space" of this room includes a table seating four, two upholstered easy chairs, a flatscreen TV, and a dramatic gas fireplace (which we didn't use, as we were there in May). This areâ would be greatly improved by including a couch.The master bed is very large and comfortable, with spotless bedding. The bed's wood base, however, projects several inches beyond the mattress on both sides, making it easy to kick one's ankles or shins getting in and out. We didn't use the bedroom's couch, which appears to unfold to be able to sleep two additional people.The bathroom was spotless, with a roomy shower. A large closet provided adequate storage.Overall, this is a good place that could be improved with some of the above suggestions.

Comfort, quiet in a great location

This property is a small penthouse in a safe, quiet neighborhood near, but not in the middle, of Washington. Transportation and nice neighborhood bistros and shopping are nearby. The property owners live onsite and are sensitive to their guests needs. The accommodations are spacious with everything one needs, and more.

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Washington DC. Restaurants, subway and grocery store were all within a 10 minute walk from the apartment. Great location overall. Apartment is only accessible via a narrow spiral staircase, so is not easily accessible for all.
