Charming, modern 1-bedroom apartment in Washington with WiFi, AC

This 1-bedroom apartment is in the heart of historic LeDroit Park close to metro and bus stops for easy access to the rest of DC. Walking distance to great coffee spots, restaurants and bars in Shaw and U St and the 930 club. Perfect to be near Howard University or Howard Hospital. This basement 1-bedroom, full apartment is attached to a corner row house with its own entrance through the back patio. Full kitchen with fridge, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker and electric kettle. Table for meals as well as a separate desk for a dedicated workspace. Washing machine and dryer in unit. TV w/ Roku. WiFi throughout. Bedroom has brand new Tuft and Needle queen size mattress with small closet for hanging clothes. Living room couch is a queen size pull out bed.
We have a strict no parties or events policy. We also don’t allow pets or smoking in the unit or on the attached patio.We live upstairs with one young child, and one of us works from home. You are very likely to hear some footsteps and water running. Our neighborhood is generally quiet in the evenings, but there are always exceptions in any urban environment. We do not anticipate any noise being disruptive to your stay, but there is a white noise machine in the bedroom just in case! Early check-in, late check-out may be possible for $50 each. Luggage storage may also be possible for $20.

Please strip the sheets from the bed (and air mattress if used) and place in the hamper in the laundry room.
Please place any trash in the trash can in the kitchen (including emptying the bathroom trash can into this bin). Please send us a note when you leave the unit.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Quiet hours, 10PM to 7AM.
No loud music or events or parties. Quiet hours between 10pm and 7 am.
There is no sleeping on the couch. Any guests not sleeping in the bedroom must use the pull out bed.

This property was listed very accurately and fit our needs for this travel. The homeowner promptly replied to any messages I sent him. He was also very accommodating to our request to have a little extra time during checkout. We used uber and metro. The metro station was located nearby with a short 7 min walk through the neighborhood.
