Chris was a great host, showing us all of the property and the animals at the retreat.There was a lot to see in the area which was easily accessible from the property. We all had really good night sleep as the house is naturally warm and the surrounds are dark and quiet.Recommend as a base to see King Valley, Beechworth and Myrtleford or just to relax inside or out.

Communication with the host was easy and they were very accommodating and helpful. The property was as described and was very comfortable for 4 adults and 3 children. Excellent stay at the quiet countryside home. Chris was a great host. We loved the mature gardens, bbq, farm animals and open spaces. The home had all the amenities to give us a comfortable stay. A perfect location to enjoy hikes, walks and Myrtleford bakeries. Would hope to stay again.

We enjoyed our time at Barwidgee. Half way between Beechworth and Bright. The animals very friendly and great enjoyment for the kids and adults alike. Nice, quiet and quaint property. Would stay again.

Cozy family holiday!

Absolutely wonderful property, amazing hosts! Upon arrival the amazing hosts already had the fires going so a very toasty warm house was an amazing surprise! The kids had lots fun feeding the animals and lots of space for relaxing with amazing views. The fruit trees were such an added bonus! Looking forward to returning again soon

Lovely rural stay.

Chris's lovely farm stay house is delightful. The house is a short drive from Myrtleford and in a very picturesque setting. It is nicely located to Yackandandah, Beechworth, Bright and Mt Buffalo. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of room to relax. The outdoor area with BBQ and pizza ove is excelkent.

Fabulous family get away

We had a wonderful 4 nights in this beautiful and peaceful location. Our host was very accommodating including letting our kids help feed the animals which they loved. Our dog had lots of space to run around and we really enjoyed the alfresco dining spaces and the fire pit. We will definitely be back!

Farm stay between Beechworth and Myrtleford

Great position to do the sight seeing of these towns. We were busy with walks, lookouts, shopping and trying new foods and drinks. Lovely cosy and warm place. Quiet amongst the animals.

Quiet, peaceful and relaxing

We had such a great time at Barwidgee. Property was fantastic, plenty of space, lovely outdoor areas and plenty of wildlife about. Short walks to creek and drives into Myrtleford and Stanley made for a wonderful stay. We would defininitely come back again.
