The house was within walking distance of the beach and Gulfplace which made it easy with kids and gave us many options for food and fun. Golf cart made it even better except parking by beach was at time challenging (crowded). Beds were comfortable, kids loved the game table and pool, and elevator came in very handy lugging in large items. A bit sparse on dishwasher pods (only gave us 2 for 6 days and 14 people) trash bags, paper towels and toilet paper. All in all family loved it and loved the quiet community of Santa Rosa beach.

Summer Lane is a beautiful property in a great location. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants or take the golf cart. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool. It had everything we needed plus.We’d definitely stay here again.

Plenty of room for our 12 people (8 adults and 4 kids). Units are pretty new (built in the last few years) and had all the amenities (kitchen, grill and pool toys). Pool was a little too cool (end of May) but had them come turn on the pool heater. The water temperature quickly warmed up and we used it every day after that. Proximity to shops and beach was great but beach was very crowded.

This property is absolutely beautiful. We were impressed by how CLEAN and comfortable the home is. It's just as pictured in the photos on the website. The covered pool allowed us to swim without getting too much sun which was a nice break from the sunny days at the beach. The bedrooms have thick doors and walls, so you can be sleeping without being disturbed by too much noise in the other parts of the home. It's a quick walk to the beach. The neighborhood feels safe and we felt comfortable walking around in the evening; it's a 5 min walk to an ice cream shop and several restaurants, which was great! There was plenty of parking on site which was helpful as well. The kitchen is fully stocked with any cookware you might need. The linens are clean and in excellent condition. Pro tip - don't open the back door to the deck when the grill is on , because you will trigger the smoke alarms :) Overall, the home is lovely and we would definitely not hesitate to book this property again. The host was great with communicating and was very responsive for the duration of our trip.

Excellent house for great vacation!

The house was incredible, clean and comfortable! Walking distance to many food and coffee spots, which made vacation with little ones fun and memorable! The covered pool was a great break and fun from the sun or during cloudy days. Would highly recommend this location for a trip to Santa Rosa! We will certainly be returning.

Great location and nice rooms

We enjoyed our stay! Everything was nice and clean and we enjoyed our family being able to spread out on different floors. Really nice pool for our grandkids! A block away from stores, eating and short golf cart ride to the beach. The golf cart really came in handy!!

Had a great time at Summer lane. We were 10 people of all ages and had 3 dogs. The house gave us enough space to mingle and spend time alone if needed. The house is well stocked and close to restaurants and the beach. Very clean. The host is very quick to respond and take care of any issues we may have. Highly recommend

Amazing Santa Rosa Beach

16th Birthday trip for our daughter and 4 of her friends. Space was perfect. Close enough to walk to the beach, but with a golf cart to bring all of our stuff first! Plunge pool perfect for after the beach and in the evening relaxing. Kitchen was awesome! Great place all around!

We loved the house. It was a short walk to the beach. The kids really loved having the pool to jump in later in the day. The layout of the house was great for us. It’s nice having restaurants and shops and a grocery store so close by also.

2023 Family Beach Trip

Stayed at Summer Lane for our family's 2023 beach trip. The house was clean and check in was a breeze. The house was close to the beach and the beach supplies were a great asset. Room set up was great and accommodated everyone without feeling crowded. Covered pool was a nice break from the beach. I highly recommend this property and will certainly consider staying again during future trips.

Family time

We travel at this time every year. Family members from Tennessee, Arkansas, and Louisiana. This was by far the best house we have rented. Everything was just as pictured. Will definitely be back next year.

Lovely

The residence was exactly as the photos and descriptions stated. It might be nice to have a couple more dish rags and towels available. The smoke detectors went off 4 times one morning, but the repair person was very prompt and courteous. We very much enjoyed our stay!

SO the property was beautiful . We had a few issues id like to list below. First thing when we got there the trash cans were full and smelled and wasnt taken out so we had to call host to get the trash removed . Then one of the bedrooms door handle kept falling off so we had to go through the bathroom to get out of the room . Then there was only 4 spoons for such a big home expecting that you would have a lot of people staying for such a large home . Then everytime you used the grill on the patio the smoke alarms would go off maybe because of the placement of the grill . Not sure why they kept going off . The biggest problem was the extra large fridge and freezer would not keep temp and all out ice cream would melt and the ice maker didnt make ice . The street in front of the house was located on a major side street so watch your kids as the cars going through sometimes speed as well. the host was attentive and brought was the spoons and kitchen towels as requested . The house was large and clean and very beautiful . I just wanted to point out some negatives that we experienced .

So beautiful

This was perfect for our large extended family. Close to the beach. Kids loved it. The private pool was great heated for rainy days. It was beautifully decorated and had everything you could want or need. A couple people forgot to bring seats for the beach and it wasn't an issue bc there was 4 there! I was so happy to find this place. Nothing but great things to say about it.

Nice home

Furniture in living room could be updated, a little far from the attractions through explore. You will need to rent a car or you will pay a fortune for Ubers if you want to take advantage of parasailing etc. Very nice home and I would stay again. Just a heads up about a rental car because the golf cart won’t get you to attractions which I should of looked into ahead of time.

Breathtaking Beach House

This beach house was so beautiful and clean. Each bed in this six bedroom house was a very good night sleep. The pool was great, but you should get it heated for extra $50 per day. It comes stocked with everything you need in the kitchen. The out side balcony has views for the sunsets. The electric golf cart was great for getting to the beach in 2 minutes or you can just walk. The elevator was so great moving supplies for one floor to the next. I would definitely return to Summer Lane.

Outstanding beach home!

Every aspect of this property and management is impeccable! Comfortable beds, furnishings. Beautifully decorated. Short walk to beach access, great restaurants and shopping. Management was quick to respond to all communications. Only request would be for more kitchen towels, hot mitts. There was just two kitchen towels and one dishcloth. We bought extra paper towels to use so this isn’t a huge issue. Everything else was well equipped. I will definitely recommend this property & Destin Dreamers to family and friends!

Spring Break

Amazing house for 2 or 3 families!!!! Pool is perfect for little kids, under cover with enough space to layout after an afternoon @ the beach. The Beach is only a few short minute walk and a golf cart that can help transport beach resources & kids!!!! There is an elevator that works great for groceries and luggage to the appropriate floors. There are so many other things to mention throughout the house TVS, Kitchen, Virtual Game Board (Basement), cooler in the basement by the swimming pool, parking space for at least 4 vehicles, walking distance to several restaurants/activities/ and ice cream. Golf Cart is battery Powered and can make a round trip to Seaside which has golf cart parking.
