Located in the heart of Katoomba, this 1915 mountain cottage is just an easy walk to the city's great cafes, restaurants, and tourist sites.

The cottage is rustic but with everything you need for your stay.
It has 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, and a joined kitchen and lounge room.
There is a large deck with seating and bbq, overlooking the garden, through the beautiful large trees.

Guests have the entire cottage to themselves.
There is no wifi or internet at the property.

Lovely cottage

Lovely cottage perfect for our family of 4 - 4,7 and two adults. Great location for walking to Main Street (useful not too long with a 4 year old) and cottage itself was warm and cost with lovely furnishings. Would definitely stay again

winter weekend away

Cute cottage, walking distance from the main strip. Whilst the blue mountains is COLD in winter, the house was warm due to ample heaters and a log fire. Lovely weekend break with friends

Relaxing weekend away

We enjoyed a very comfortable and enjoyable time in this cute cottage. Ideal location to wander around katoomba. It had everything we needed to make our weekend easy and relaxing. Glad we stayed and will come back again.

Cute cottage

Cosy, comfortable and with everything you need. Good for a small family or two couples. Nice bedding and comfy beds.Great location esp if you walk to Katoomba St using the laneway.Not so keen on over bath shower, however the water pressure was great.

Perfect for small family dog!

It was our first time to stay in Katoomba for longer than a night or two, and Allambee Cottage was the perfect cottage for us. It was just right for our little family of three humans and one fur baby. It's handily located close to the main shops in Katoomba and other areas of the Blue Mountains are easily accessible. Although we had issues with the main gas heater, Michael was super responsive and we managed to stay toasty and warm throughout our stay (the log fire was fabulous). We look forward to staying at Allambee Cottage again the next time we attend Yulefest in the Blue Mountains!Rachelle

A cosy cottage

The cottage was small, rustic and cosy with views of trees outside the kitchen led onto a balcony with a bbq. The beds were comfortable and both had electric blankets. It was a quiet area and close to shops and sights. It was well priced and good value. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Sweet little cottage

Perfect little spot in Katoomba. And perfect size for my family of 3. Great living area and kitchen dining area. Beds were comfy and shower was great withe the heat lights. Good little outdoor deck. Close to the main street and restaurants. Its a 8min walk but it is up a hill so be prepared. Would stay again!

It was a beautiful quaint little cottage nestled in the stunning Blue Mountains. As you enter You're welcomed by a beautiful old fashioned fire place in the cosy lounge room, leading into the kitchen diner, and big glass doors and windows which lead out onto a large timber deck overlooking forget me knot flowers and trees. Everything was delightful but i did find the beds to be very firm, which made sleeping a little hard. The gas heating worked well, and the property fairly clean. The shower was a little awkward and felt closed in due to the tiny shower curtain area but we managed. Parking was on a side street with a little hill to walk up to the house Over all it was a lovely little cottage to stay in.
