Peaceful and romantic
We loved this unit and it's great location - it is near many things but on the quiet, shady side of the building. The lagoons nearby are great for snorkeling and swimming. The unit is on the 7th floor and has a lovely lanai with a whole wall that opens up giving it a tree-house like feel. Surprisingly, we didn't have trouble with bugs. The view is outstanding, though it's not an end unit so you can only see one side of the immediate lagoon, it's still a beautiful sunset view with a 180 degree view from sea to mountains. The unit felt updated and had everything we needed to use the kitchen or enjoy the beach. Easy check in too, the staff was very thoughtful. The property has a nice fitness center and several pools, though we wandered to the ocean lagoons instead - they are so convenient. The only issues we had was the drain in the 2nd bathroom tub is broken and can only be used as a shower, and the unit could use a deep clean.

Ko Olina
We had a great stay at our Ko Olina condo. The pools were great, nice little beach bar and great beaches. The beaches in this area are man made lagoons, so you don't really get the waves for boogie boarding or anything like that, but it is great for family playing in the water and throwing the football around! We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Beach Villa
The image of the sunrise provided in the pictures was misleading because it could not be viewed from the lanai. However, the beach villa was beautiful and all of the issues that were noted in previous reviews had apparently been corrected. The furniture in the den appeared to be practically new, the waste disposal worked, there were no drainage issues, and a member of guest services helped us get the luggage to the villa and then provided us with a tour so we knew how to operate everything and were aware of the amenities that were available. Kudos. The only concerning issue I had is that I requested that the twin beds in the guest room be converted to a King and I paid the fees associated with that request two days prior to our arrival. However when we arrived the conversion was not done, which was extremely disappointing. After following up three times, the conversion was completed on the second day of our stay. Guest services needs to ensure that they verify that all requests have been fulfilled to their guest's satisfaction and that the guest receives a confirmation prior to their arrival. Outside of that, it was a great property in a great location. We would stay there again.

Review
The view on the listing ide tified the sunset that could view from the terrace...but the sunset was more south and block by the building during our stay. The waste disposal unit did not work, and at the end of our stay the drain was backing up so we did not want to cause a flood we could not fully wash the dishes in the dishwasher...also the drain in the bathtub in guest bedroom was slowing down and filling when our guest were taking a shower in the tub....but all in all the stay was wonderful. I do suggest that a welcoming staff be present so that we know the surrounding and what is where in the rental unit. Definitely be back Sincerely Rob

Avantstay is the worst management company
The propert management company we went thru to book this was absolutely horrible. Vrbo would not let me list their name here but be aware of this company you should be able to see my review and who the company was. The day before my family and I were to fly out to Hawaii they sent me a text message at 1:10 pm. Reporting that they accidentally double booked and my reservation was canceled. That my family and I had no where to stay. I called and they said sorry. Maybe you can find somewhere else. With less then 24hrs to arrive in Hawaii. The only place I could find was 16k dollars. Double what I paid for their rental. I could not believe this. I had spent months ahead of time planning this trip. Then a few hrs later they called and said they had made an error we still had a place to stay. Then I had paid and reserved early check in when I got off the plane they texted me I was not going to be able to check in early. Although they told me it is guaranteed if I pay for early check in I will be able to. No one was there to greet us. The place lacked many basic things. The dryer was broken made a horrible screeching noise. Just a horrible company whom I will never rent from again. I would warn anyone from booking with this company. Cynthia Nava
