Loved the unit! It was fantastic on the South End and being so close to the beach and intercostal. Great space for our family of 4. Could have easily had 6-8 people.

Lovely spring break getaway

Everything was perfect at the gray whale. The property was clean and welcoming. Sunsets from the deck are amazing. Ocean view from the front! We enjoyed sitting outside and reading listening to the ocean.

Gray Whale

Loved it. Short walk to the beach in a very quiet neighborhood. Had everything we needed. Such a nice area with so many friendly people. Plus our dog loved it!

Would be great if wifi was available in the rear of the cottage perhaps another router would help great place a combination of old style beach cottage with modern amenties loved it

Overall, we had a great stay. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our trip. We had an issue with a toilet and sink shortly after arriving, and they came out right away to fix everything, which we really appreciated.The location was exactly as advertised—a very short walk to the beach, making it easy to come and go throughout the day. The home was clean, and we especially enjoyed relaxing on the porch with the ocean breeze and beautiful views.That said, the property itself could use some updating. The outdoor furniture is showing its age, and a few interior upgrades would make the home feel more comfortable. One thing that was a bit misleading in the listing photos was the bathroom setup. While there are technically three showers, one is an outdoor shower downstairs, and one of the two indoor showers is extremely small—more like a shower tucked into a hall-closet-sized room. The adults in our group found it difficult to use comfortably, so we all ended up sharing the larger indoor shower instead. It would be helpful if the listing made this layout a little clearer.Overall, we enjoyed our stay because of the great location, responsive host, cleanliness, and relaxing porch. With a few updates and clearer photos of the bathroom layout, it would be an even better experience.

Fantastic house and location!

This beautiful home is in new condition and was very comfortable for the six adults in our family. It is just across the street from the beach path, less than a block from the sound, and in a quiet neighborhood. All of the furnishings are very nice, the beds are comfortable, and the main areas are spacious with plenty of seating. It was a plus that beach towels and equipment were included in the home. Check in was a breeze and the property mgt team was excellent to work with. One thing to be aware of before visiting is that the shared shower in the hallway is in a tight space. People of large stature will have trouble in the shower stall. Our group is considered to be average adult sizes and it was fine. We would definitely rent here again!

Water took forever to get hot and once it was turned cold within 5 minutes so showering was not enjoyable.
