Property was clean and easy to access. Owners thought of everything that a guest could need, even down to an umbrella. They were responsive and personable. I would recommend anyone to stay here!

So happy to hear. you felt that way. Safe travels and please come back again!
We had a wonderful stay at the tiny treehouse. It is a wonderful location with easy quick access to Duke and Durham. The place was very clean and the host Ty was so accommodating. In fact there was an unexpected running race the morning of our departure which prevented us from accessing the tiny treehouse and Ty offered to shuttle us so we were able to get our rental car and make it to the airport on time. We highly recommend this property and its wonderful hosts.

Thanks for your patience with the runners/race! Felt like we got to participate in our own kind of race that morning. :). Hope you come again!
We stayed in this tiny home while we were in Durham for a friend's wedding and really enjoyed our stay! Our hosts had the home set up for us so that when we finally landed after midnight we had a cozy and comfortable place waiting, and the location is incredibly convenient for exploring the greater Durham area. Would happily spend another weekend here!

The property was quiet and peaceful and the hosts were very helpful and responsive. Close to Duke Hospital, shops and dining on Ninth Street, and downtown Durham. The neighborhood is charming and great for long walks.

This property and its owners are amazing! We got in late and they had the lights on for us. It is a beautiful little house that fit our needs perfectly and was so quaint, I will be staying there on my next visit to Durham!

#ease #elegance #comfort #practicality #special touches #cleanlinessEverything about my stay allowed smoothness, comfort, ease. Simple things like comfortable chairs, all amenities in working order, cleanliness... allowed me to rest and engage in a weekend of rest and learning (at workshop), easily prepare meals, sleep well. The deck chairs are comfy and fun - they rock! The hosts strike a respectful balance of checking in and offering helping, answering questions, while not at all intrusive. Traveling solo, it was comforting as well as supportive. #biggratitude

Where to begin! The property is beautiful and backs up to a nature trail. There’s ample parking too! The tiny home has the greatest porch to watch the wildlife. And once you go inside, you have all the amenities one could ever ask for. The bed is super comfortable. They have chargers and a TV. They even have a kitchenette! The bathroom is also quite roomy for a tiny home. I could not ask for a sweeter host who makes sure everything is right! I will most definitely be back to stay here in February for a wedding. Overall a 10 out of 10!

Quaint Creek Cottage!
I absolutely loved my stay! The space was clean and was the perfect balance of a small space with all the amenities I needed. I loved the small art touches and the pullout was surprisingly comfortable (I'm always weary of them - but this one felt the same as a true bed!). The cottage also has the cutest walkway with little solar lights that turn on at night - with the creek on one side, it feels quite magical :)I enjoyed making coffee in the morning to see the morning light come up, walking and running on the Ellerbee Creek trail (I love the loops of off the paved trail that go deeper into the forest - highly recommend!) and walking around the neighborhood at night (so many people are about walking, so it feels very safe, I love the houses in the area, and I scored a great book at the little free library!). This is a fantastic spot, and Ty is super helpful and a great host!

From the owner:
"Hi Dana, Thanks so much for your kind words! We're really glad you enjoyed the cottage and that the pullout was a pleasant surprise. It sounds like you had a great time exploring the neighborhood and trails, and we love that you found a good book too! You're welcome back anytime."
This is a quiet and serene location that is just right for 1-2 people looking for a little r&r. Hosts were very nice and communication was excellent. Just right for visiting durham. Visited the duke gardens, the tobacco area by DPAC, Elmos and Biscuitville for breakfasts, and Firebirds for dinner at Southpoint. Great 2 nite getaway! Highly recommended!!!
