Location is ideal for this wonderful one bedroom retreat. A lush, inviting compound created so owners and guests could enjoy the shared tropical outdoor spaces. This location offers a convenient walk to Mallory Square, the Historic Seaport and all other attractions and activities that Key West has to offer. All of the action of Duval street including Sloppy Joe's, Hog's Breath and The Bull is just around the corner yet when you return "home" you return to a peaceful get away from it all atmosphere. At this location you do not need a car as all attractions, activities and beaches of Old Town are walking distance! (There is no parking provided)

This tropical cottage is designed for relaxation with bamboo accents and serene colors. The cottage has beautifully unique and original Cuban tile floors throughout, a king-sized bed, one spa-like bath with over-sized walk-in shower, washer and dryer in the unit. There is also a private courtyard with deck, opening from the living room and bedroom with outdoor furniture perfect for working on your tan and outdoor enjoyment. The common area of the compound has a shared pool, sunning and garden area.

This was our 1st time staying at Tranquility but one of many in KW . We have stayed in a couple of other units in this area & it’s our favorite area . Tranquility was so clean & comfortable, very nicely updated & beautiful decor . The owner was very attentive & will definitely stay there again !!

Homey little bungalow on quiet street, but a stone’s throw from just about everything. The secluded pool was a great place to hang out and nap. Everything we needed was at the house. Location was great for dropping by to pick up a beer from the fridge or hit the bathroom .

This was a beautifully decorated (updated from the pictures on the rental websites), well stocked cottage in a great location. There was a little street noise (the house is right on Ann Street) but usually very quiet at night. We loved the private patio. The pool area was nice, too. We never saw anyone else at the pool. The bed was comfortable, and we loved the large shower. Our only complaints were the bed pillows were flat (need to be replaced) and there was no trashcan in the kitchen (very odd). We highly recommend staying here.

Needs a facelift

Our time in KW was wonderful, the location of our rental, perfection. The cottage was a bit "worn", especially for the price we paid per night. And there were no basic amenities: soap, shampoo, tissues, a welcoming bottle or wine...or water. While our linens were clean, they were noticeably stained, and the pillows were like sleeping on sandbags~ very uncomfortable. The mattress was not very good, either. The lamps in the master need harps as the shades flop around. These are little things that speak to the quality of the place, and they should be attended to.

Tranquility was the perfect getaway for us. Just a short walk from Duvall allowed us to enjoy the nightlife but dip away easily for some peace and quiet. We would definitely recommend to any one interested in this property.

Perfect couples getaway

We booked this trip as a 25th anniversary celebration. The ease of booking with VRBO and the immediate response from the host of this property was very good. We were literally steps from all the hustle and bustle of Duval but felt like we were also in our own private secluded tropical getaway. We were able to walk everywhere, although some may prefer scooters or bikes. I would highly recommend booking this property and plan to pass this information along to friends. We will definitely be back.

Our stay here was nothing short of amazing! The owner and property management company were amazing to work with! We had a hot water heater issue the first day but Dean had someone there immediately! They were great! Very walkable to everything. Would highly recommend and we will be back!

This is a great property. It was conveniently located to everything, yet quiet and peaceful when you were in your room. Having a washer and dryer available was a definite plus. It made everything very easy. The property manager was great, I highly recommend this property.

Great small cottage

Great location. Perfect space for couples. The pool area was nice. We parked our bikes in the courtyard and enjoyed the Key West experience. We plan to come back for mini season 2022.
