Beautiful home

The house was perfect for our family stay. The online photos were very accurate. There were a few issues getting onto the property… gate and door codes were not working… the listed property manager was no longer handling the property. The owner did eventually got in touch with new codes. The roof over the kitchen leaked after a rainstorm.

Perfect for large group

The size of the home is perfect for a large group because everyone has their own space. The large bunk room is perfect for kids and teens to hang out together. We enjoyed the pool as well as the lake for fishing. I only rated this property 4 stars for cleanliness because the grass was a little tall and the swimming pool area was very cobwebby but this is the lake so it really wasn’t an issue for us. The property managers were very quick to respond whenever I needed them.

Great house for large family - check on the internet

Grandpa and Grandma (me) plus kids and their families - 16 in all - lots of little ones. Communication with hosts was immediate. Very responsive. Place and pool very clean. Kitchen well equipped and table (plus barstools) able to seat all of us!!!!! Only glitch - and as a grandma I was not unhappy for less screen time- the internet was unreliable even cell service was not great. If you are needing to use your laptop for a little work while you’re there, make sure they have fixed the issue.

I’m so disappointed, it’s hard to put in words. We had planned this trip for 5 months, deposit was placed late April/early May, and it’s like they weren’t even expecting us. The house itself is so perfect and open and spacious, but the way it was presented had me fuming all weekend. From the grass/weeds being 2-3 foot tall, the pool/hot tub murky/dirty, no wash cloths, the filfth of the oven and grill.. I could keep going.. it’s like normally, you can overlook some issues, but I just can’t in this case..

Great Location, But Needs Better Cleaning and Essentials for Large Groups

The house is in an amazing location and overall met our needs for a great stay! The layout and amenities were just right for our group. However, a few issues with maintenance and supplies impacted our experience.First, the landscaping appeared neglected, and the house had not been dusted well, with visible cobwebs in multiple areas. Some bathroom showers hadn’t been fully cleaned which sadly we had to do ourselves. For a property advertised to accommodate 18 people, we expected a sufficient supply of essentials, like towels and tissue. Unfortunately, there weren’t enough towels for our group, and many of the ones provided were visibly worn or had stains, leading us to purchase more ourselves. Additionally, there was not enough tissue or trash bags provided, which required another trip to the store upon arrival.While these details didn’t stop us from enjoying our stay, a bit more attention to cleanliness and supply stock would make this rental even better for future guests. With these adjustments, it could easily be a standout property!

Dirty and Disappointing

This property consists of 3 properties. We have rented these properties five times, but this was our first time in Lakehouse 3. Part of the attraction is the gated community. When we arrived, the gate was wide open and completely broken. When we pulled up to the house, we were greeted with a trash can overflowing with trash from the previous guests. Then, one of the bedrooms was in complete disarray because housekeeping left before finishing. When we went to turn on the grill, it was disgustingly dirty. In fact, the entire outdoor area was FILTHY. The large table was covered in dirt and dead bugs. The chair cushions were stained and covered in dirt. Many chairs didn't even have cushions. The grass was long and had not been mowed in a very long time. There were spider and wasp nests everywhere. The hot tub jets did not work until the second night. The kitchen fridge did not cool (at 51 degrees instead of 37 degrees). Management was kind and offered for us to use the fridge in Lakehouse 1 or 2. The fridge in Lakehouse 1 was at 57 degrees. The fridge in Lakehouse 2 worked, but the smell in the house was unbearable. We learned later that the septic system was backed up and causing the smell. Needless to say, having to store all of our food in a different house that smelled was not ideal. Management was helpful night one as they came back to finish cleaning and cleaned the grill. But this trip was very disappointing. We would appreciate a rebate.
