Great experience

No issues with anything and everything was as advertised. Perfect distance from pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. Pet friendly and plenty of room to walk the dogs.

Kevin; so glad to hear that you and your wife had a delightful experience. Please come and visit us again. We have kicked around having a grill, the main concern is that they can be "bear magnets". But, we will think on it. Again Thank you for staying at Black Bear Retreat.

Well kept home, the pool table was a big hit with all of us. Gracious with supplies for the place. Overall, great expectations.

Quiet and peaceful

Our stay was very quiet and peaceful. This property is on a beautiful quiet country road in the Glades Craft Community, yet 7-8 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. The house was comfortable and very well equipped. We enjoyed our stay.

Quiet and Secluded!

This was our first stay at Bear Den. We absolutely love this property! Quiet, clean, and well stocked with spices and everything you need for your stay. Will be staying again!!! Close to all the shops, but far enough for the peace and quiet you'd want from the mountains. 🖤

We had the most enjoyable stay. It was very clean, well stocked with essentials and extremely quiet. Even though there was no WiFi and the TV was spotty, we were able to unplug and relax. We saw a couple bears. One even came to the back door to take a peak. I would definitely recommend this cabin and we look forward to staying again.

Thank You for staying with us, we try to make the home as "homey" as possible. We know the WIFI and T.V. are not the best but we hope the chance to "unplug" makes up for the inconvenience. Glad you were able to see some of the wildlife.

Perfect Location

The home was minutes from Downtown Gatlingburg. We watched bears cubs climb a tree from our bedroom window the first morning after we arrived.

We are so excited that you enjoyed your stay, and that you had a chance to witness nature. Yes the T.V. is not the best it does come and go. We are working on trying to improve the reception. Thank you for staying with us and please come on back again.

Kinda needs attention

We enjoyed the house. It was clean and neat. However the FURNACE FILTER should have been changed MONTHS AGO. THE filter had a horrible ordor which was throughout the house. The price on the vrbo page was not a reflection of the total cost was double of the advertised pruce
