This was a great place for several family to rent together. The saloon was a great place to come together to visit and then everyone had their own place to sleep

Kimberly, the saloon is exactly what we hoped it would be, a room big enough for everybody to land in at once while still letting folks slip off to their own beds when the night winds down. Multi family groups are the reason we built the place the way we did, so it is good to hear it worked the way you needed. Next time you all come out, take an evening at the fire pit after dinner. It is the natural second act once the saloon quiets down, and the stars out here do most of the entertaining. We would be glad to have your family back. We enjoyed the property but a few things needed to be attended to - but overall a good experience. The host should consider a nice set of mixing bowls and perhaps a few larger Pyrex type pans - when cooking for a crowd we had to use multiple smaller pots and pans -the Saloon had evidence of rodent droppings in the drawers and counters but we wiped them down. The large grill is rusted through the bottom so we had to use the smaller grill - the bathroom plumbing fixtures are pretty but worn out. The property was just right for 6 couples but those were a few suggestions I thought I would mention - 6 of us shared the guest shower as the master tub fixtures did not work. Maintenance did come out two days in a row but we were asked not to use the shower/tub until they could be repairs

Great property. Everything you need was readily available. Close to Main Street and grocery stores. Had trouble with WiFi in the game room area so TV was non functional which ended up being ok. WiFi can be a problem in the country. There were two gates to the property and random cars drove through the gated property at speeds that made me uncomfortable with my four year old walking to the game room from the main house to get to another family member.

This property was great for our extended family. We enjoyed the property and it's amenities. The kitchen allowed several cooks in the area without bumping into each other. We did, however have to spread out when eating as the dining table sat 6 and we had a group of 14. This is information only, we were just fine with it. If you have a need to all be at one table together, you might think about alternatives. There are outside picnic tables the shade at the Saloon. The pool area is nice, we all had a great time outside together. So glad the host added this amenity. The decor is fantastic, it fits the historical legacy of the property. I never knew how much I would like a stone house until staying here.We'd book here again.

Great stay for a group of friends!

We had a wonderful stay at Sunset Valley Ranch. The listing was exactly as advertised. Room to sprawl and a lot of fun things for the kiddos to explore. The separate sleeping areas accommodated five moms with multiple children ranging in age from 3 to 10. We had a couple of encounters with some scorpions, but that’s to be expected in a ranch setting. A couple of household items were not functioning as they should, but the managers and the owners responded to us very quickly in order to resolve. Overall, a great stay and would highly recommend for large groups of people.
