Super clean basement private entry suite with full size bed for business travellers or couple. Looking for a best place to relax after a long drive from East to West, we are proud to offer ours. We take pride keeping high quality, clean and safe place for all as we never cease to explore improvements based on our previous guests recommendations. This is a fully furnished suite from cooker to a working station with desktop computer, a plus for business travellers. The design was carefully crafted based on a barn to a city living. Basic supplies are available enough to boost your day or 2. Guests are welcome to add up when supply last. We so love pets but we do not recommend in our property. A non-smoking regulation is strictly observed inside the unit and best of all, NO CLEANING FEE so we encourage our guests to do basic tidying (towel/sheets to the wash, garbage properlt dispose upon leaving so we get things up and running for the next lucky guests on time only if that is not too much to ask. Otherwise, we may incur charges for housekeeper. We want to be fair for our future dwellers so they can enjoy the same convenience as the previous. We respect everyone's privacy and we recommend a no contact check-in as the door does not require mechanical key. A touch pad code will be coming your way few hours prior to arrival. For added convenience, we recommend guests to inform us their ETAs and any other preferences. This is a 7 to 15 minute drive to the entire town of Abbotsford where you find almost anything you need from sight viewings, evening fun to shopping. Golf course is just around the corner for a 5 minute drive. Try us out.

Such nice hosts! Forgot my password for the door and locked myCell phone inside wi the keypad in mymessages so the hosts were kind enough to let me in at midnight! Nothing lacking in that suite!

The unit was very clean. It is a good size space. Good kitchen and bath linens. Bed was very soft for our liking but that is subjective. Nice to have laundry available although we did not need to use it. There are no windows in the main room and the bedroom has some natural light . Good shower. Good kitchen area with small fridge and nice stovetop and a microwave. Compact but efficient. We did find the seating area if one wanted to read was not great - but that was a minor issue. The tv is in the bedroom so not always to everyones liking but we did not watch any tv - so did not affect us. And there is no outdoor area to sit. Overall, enjoyed our stay. It is in a quiet location . A bit of upstairs sounds but very minimal.

No control of temp

For it being a basement suite, it was unusually hot. I asked the owner multiple times if they could turn the temperature down and it was always “I’ll look into it” with no change. We twisted open the vents in the ceiling like instructed and it made no difference. There were no fans. Besides that, the place was very clean and nice. But the lack of AC had my boyfriend and I struggling 😅

When you left , we noticed the vent in the bedroom is totally shut. I wonder why you don't get airflow. I thought you read the instructions. Our aircodition is 24/7 never stop.

I am a Nurse by profession with an Interior design background. I love music and jam with kids. Those things I do is enough to keep me busy. Tried to be flexible at all but most times, I never get to see my guests when they are around. As I mentioned, contactless entry is encouraged. My suite is designed for any guest who prefer quick and easy check-in so everything is done virtually and guest are given personal access thru door codes. Personal greetings can be arranged so both ways are possible.

Why they chose this property

The suite is surrounded by friendly, quiet neighborhood and respect everyone's privacy so we expect our guests to observe the same character. We are a very environment friendly community surrounded with lots of greens. Golf course is just less than 5 minutes drive and very accessible to almost anything from groceries , night life to trail activities. Lots of views when driving along the mountain. It is a mountain within the city.
