This was a great property with private dock access to Lake Anna. My kids and I enjoyed swimming, kayaking, boating, and tubing in the lake. When weather wasn't great, there were plenty of TVs, books, games, and a pool table to keep everyone entertained. The location was great, with quick access to a grocery store from land and marina access by boat.Bill and Jane were very responsive throughout the trip.

The location was amazing and the hosts were spectacular. The home was well equipped. The dock was a perfect mix of covered and uncovered with a lakeside fire pit. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay

Wonderful stay. Property manager was responsive and helpful. House was well kept, and the location, quiet somewhat secluded but in the center of lake Anna was terrific. We had a great time and very much look forward to returning in the future.

This lakehouse has everything you need and more: Linens, towels, games, books (SO MANY BOOKS!), wood fire pit, gas fire pit, covered wrap-around porch, screened-in porch (with multiple ceiling fans), a beautiful dock, fishing supplies, flotation toys, a pantry full of any cookware you'd need, beach towels, a pool table, a game room, beautiful bathrooms, plenty of space, kayaks, paddleboard, canoe, fishing supplies, and quiet from the big lake. Pack some clothes, place your grocery order, and enjoy! Though the owners live above the garage on the property, they are not intrusive; instead, they are very helpful and wish for your trip to be delightful. They responded to every need we had (which weren't many), but did not interfere with our vacation in any way. The property is pet-friendly, but we saw no signs of any dogs being there. The trees surrounding the property offer privacy and shade, which was a game-changer during the heatwave. It's proximity to a grocery store, Dollar General, and takeout restaurants was a big convenience. There's even a nice massage spa nearby! With the two king beds and 4 twins, and THREE bathrooms, this is a perfect place for two couples to take kiddos. With the third bathroom in the basement, it's a great place to clean up after a day out on the water.

Great getaway

Well stocked and appointed rental perfect for a getaway. Awesome peaceful dock. We loved taking out the canoes and kayaks and the firpit was great too. Great for our dogs as the gated deck kept them secure where they could enjoy the fresh air.

This is a great property. The house has plenty of room with games to play and a pool table. There is a big deck and a screened in porch. The dock is an awesome place to hang out. There are kyaks, a canoe, and a paddle board and plenty of chairs. Swimming is a lot of fun-it's a no wake cove so there is little fear of being run over! The property manager is friendly and very helpful. He lives on the property so is close by in case you need anything. Other than greeting us, we really did not see him unless we had a question.

Perfect family getaway spot

We had a great time, plenty of space in the house, beds were comfy. The real gem was the dock, easy access to the lake, plenty of space to jump in and float around. Caught some big catfish off the dock. The groundkeeper, who lives on property in a different building, was very hospitable and helpful. We loved using the kayaks, canoes and paddleboard. Even got out on the boat and jetski. Plenty to do and the house was stocked woth basically everything we needed, except food and drinks of course! Would 💯 recommend and come back.

Present and Friendly Property Manager Lives On-Site

We had a nice visit for an affordable price. You definitely get what you pay for here and it was more rustic than we anticipated. While it is a house, the vibe felt more like a cabin due to cleanliness, etc. The bedding and towels were clean and fresh, although the couches could use some cleaning or replacement. The kitchen is stocked but not great quality - again, more like a cabin. If you want to cook I HIGHLY recommend at least bringing your own knives because they are very dull. The biggest item of note is the property manager. He lives on-site in the apartment above the detached garage about 20ft from the house, which is not mentioned in the listing. He is very present, as are his 3 large dogs. If you're looking for a private retreat, this is not for you. Overall we had a lovely time and it's a nice lake-side option for a good price, but I wish we had a better idea of what to expect before booking. Also of note - there is a Trump flag at the entrance of the driveway.
