Unsafe and Misrepresented Property — Should Be Removed from VRBOI would give this property 0 stars if that were an option.We checked in at 10pm and were shocked by the condition of the apartment. Within minutes it was clear the property was unsafe and not as advertised. There was exposed wiring in the kitchen wall and multiple broken electrical outlets, which felt like a serious safety hazard. The refrigerator’s water dispenser did not work. One toilet ran continuously, and one shower had a broken door. Several drawer knobs were broken as well.Cleanliness was equally concerning. The floors, walls, and bedding were visibly dirty and stained. The air filters looked like they had not been changed in years. Overall, the entire unit felt neglected, poorly maintained, and unclean — as if no proper maintenance had been done for a very long time.The listing photos on VRBO appear to be AI-generated and are absolutely not an accurate representation of the actual property. The condition of the apartment was nowhere close to what was advertised, especially considering the price of thousands of dollars.Due to the unsafe conditions and lack of cleanliness, we urgently checked out the next morning as soon as we were able to secure another place to stay. We have requested a refund based on false advertisement.I strongly caution future renters to verify the current condition of this property before booking.
