Family Thanksgiving

Our stay was great !!! The house is beautiful and well kept. Perfect for our family Thanksgiving gathering. Everything was very clean and as described. We would definitely consider it again in the future.

I rented this house as a staycation sport for a weekend bachelor party. Overall a good home when it comes to space and sleeping areas. But it needs some upkeep. About half of the theater room chairs were broken in some way and most of the sink faucets were loose. Also, the kitchen sink has very little water pressure. The porch outside was really nice, but its needs some help with pest control. And when we arrived, the house had not been cleaned. Luckily the host sent their cleaners immediately, but we did not have the space to ourselves until about 9pm on the first night. Overall, I don't regret renting this home. It served its purpose for what I needed it for. But the experience could have been better.

Didn’t have much interaction with the Host but the interaction we did have was reliable. Home was as advertised plenty of room . Did have an issue with water bugs probably an extermination situation but over all was good .

Our Stay

The house was nice. The inside was very clean but the kitchen sink faucet the water comes out very slow. Very little water. My fault for overlooking but none of the bedrooms have tvs. Only 2 televisions. The living room furniture is very hard & uncomfortable. It was hard to sit outside bc the spiders & bugs were bad. Webs very bad. Need to pressure wash. Very little lake view. You can see a little view if you go on the front porch. The pool was inside but very very cold. Too cold to swim. Our overall stay was good. Just need a few improvements.

Dirty

This property was not ready for when we arrived it was filthy outside the pool was disgusting couldn’t use outdoor areas at all or pool . Grass was high that sent a yard man during our stay which disturbed us even further . We complained they finally sent a cleaner later Saturday we checked out Sunday but never actually got to use outdoor . Renters beware !!!! False advertising not as stated they said they would refund $200 who knows if they actually will . Horrible conditions. Over priced badly . Will never recommend

Not as expected

We are not sure exactly what happened during our stay but the woman who was the property manager prior to our arrival (and who was responsive and great) told us after we arrived and ran into issues that the owner’s son would now be serving as property manager. There was a nest of raccoons living in the roof and we kept finding baby raccoons on the porch. We did our best to try to put them back with their mother, but it was certainly less than ideal. The first day, we were told that the property manager would bring a tool to clean the bottom of the pool but that never happened. Additionally the air conditioning units froze while we were there and the AC was not functioning properly. It was very hot at night. The location was good and the house was comfortable (aside from not being able to use the pool or the AC properly, but overall this was probably the worst rental experience I’ve had.

Hi JoAnn, we value providing an excellent experience for our guests, and we would like to share some insights from the homeowner: The guest arrived a day earlier than their scheduled check-in date. As a result, essential maintenance activities were in progress that day, including A/C repairs and a visit from animal control to address a raccoon issue. Had the check-in occurred on the correct date, these issues would have been resolved beforehand, ensuring a more seamless experience. We hope the generous measures taken to make things right helped make up for some of the inconvenience. We truly do all we can to make our home the best possible experience, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Rooms were dirty, old chewing tobacco found under beds. Advertised pool was half full and dirty, found roaches in house and saw squirrels climbing in and out of the rafter above porch. Charges a pet fee that is not in the Vrbo listing. Kitchen sink literally dribbles water and charges a cleaning fee dispute expecting you to clean up the house yourself.
