Comfortable house on the water. It was a good stay. All things considered we were very satisfied. My only real complaint was the bed in the master suite; just did not belong in the same house as the other furnishings. In need of an upgrade. My wife preferred the one upstairs much better. Otherwise, a very comfortable place. Would recommend.

Great stay!

We had a great time at this property. Perfect for a family. My only warning is the sun comes through the blinds about 6 so it was some adjustment with our toddler. I should've brought black out curtains or sobering like that. Easy drive to Chincoteague, great communication with host, really neat property. Definitely recommend!

Clean and comfortable home

We booked a last minute long weekend to the area and were very pleased with Bliss by the Bay. The property was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well appointed. While we were only there for a few nights, it made a great home base for our trip to Chincoteague/Assateague. The only amenity that would have improved our stay was blackout shades (they were great in the master!) in the upstairs bedrooms. We have young kids and the evening sun made bedtime tough.

Absolutely loved staying here!

You will LOVE staying here! I have high expectations of my vacation rentals and this one checked off ALL of my boxes. If you love a clean house, a gorgeous view, and AWESOME air conditioning, this place will not disappoint! The proximity to the pool and the marina restaurant was perfect. The kitchen was stocked with equipment, just be sure to bring spices, dish soap, and dish detergent! Also make sure you pack plenty of toilet paper, paper towel, and dish detergent. Remember, it’s common for rentals to give you a few of the above items, but it’s up to you to supply the rest— this is the only thing I should have prepared for. Regardless of having to bring extra items, I did not mind AT ALL! I was so bummed at the end of the trip, my family and I didn’t want to leave. We enjoyed spending nights on the deck in the rocking chairs.
