Beautiful

Ideal location as long as you have a vehicle. Beautiful views. Excellent accommodations and amenities. It was easy to communicate with the host, such as when the gate code was changed and when the BBQ propane ran out. They responded almost immediately. Selfishly, I’d like to not recommend this place so it stays quiet but…

Akumal

Stayed at same unit recently. Appreciated the owner taking action on some of the points made. Will likely stay here again. One more request would be to please have the bed sheets cleaned the day before arrival so they are fresh. It seems that sheets acquired a specific 'odor' if unit not in use for a while. Everything else was great.

1, The unit can use more lighting under the kitchen counters.2. Mattress is super hard!3. I had to ask the cleaning crew to wash master bed sheets - they smelled as if someone had just slept there.4. Owner should provide a bid waste bin. Had to keep trash in plastic back hanging out in the open.5. Would be nice if regular size liquid hand soap could be provided. They only give you tiny, tiny little bottles (one for each bath). I had to buy one to use during stay.5. Overall unit is well appointed.

The unit we stayed in was beautiful. I could see the ocean from the bedroom and living room. The unit was clean, had everything you could need for a few days stay. I would highly recommend grabbing things to make meals during your stay and take advantage of having a full kitchen! The roof top pool and lounge area was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the calm area. I appreciate the fact that they have on site security around the clock, just added peace of mind for me. The only issue I had with the unit was with one of the showers. The water would take a really long time to heat, then would get scalding hot. It would run cold if I tried to change the temperature. The check in process was confusing and caused some hesitation for me. You pay for your stay, then have to authorize the payment separately through a link they send. I did that and received a message that we were all swt for our stay. The next day they asked for a separate approval for a security deposit in order to receive Check In details. The next day they asked to fill out a registration form that requires uploading pictures of our passports in order to receive the Check In details. At this point I had to reach out to Vrbo for support. The issue was not with needing to provide the details. The issue was with all the additional steps that were not disclosed anywhere in the booking, and with the misleading "do this step to get check in details". It would have appreciated receiving one message with the steps laid out
