The place was great being pet freindly. The pool was nice and having the pool covered with neeting was really nice protection from all the mosquitoes down at the coast. Enjoyed my time visiting family at RockportThanks
The pictures don’t do this place justice! It was even nicer in person, and the pool was amazing clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it!
Overall, we had a pleasant stay. But there were little things that were just off. The master bath shower is poorly plumbed, and you have to use a squeegee to keep the water out of the bigger bathroom. There’s a sliding glass door just outside the master bedroom that is in operable and instead of having a glass in the door it has plexi glass taped into the frame. There’s no dressers in either of the two other bedrooms to put clothing in. And one doesn’t have even a closet. All of our belongings had to lay on the floor. In the secondary bathroom, there wasn’t enough towels and washcloths to accommodate all of us. The kitchen was nicely accommodated. We were able to cook two full meals without issues. The day that we got there, we had to call and have the yard mowed. The pool was low on water and needed cleaned.
My family and I had a great experience staying at the house. It was exactly as described and truly felt like home. A pool is a must-have when traveling with little kids. Having our own pool was the cherry on top! I highly recommend this place for your next vacation!
We enjoyed our stay and would book again for our family in the future, it was fairly located close to everything including the beach. Pool was a bonus especially with it being screened in. Nothing fancy but worth the price point and coastal vibes
We really all enjoyed this awesome home
Very relaxing the pool was perfect
This home had so much room and had everything we could ask for and more
We will be back and will recommend to friends and family
Thank you
Ok for the price. Pool needed a chemical balance as it was cloudy. The master bed is uncomfortable. The pots and La s need an upgrade. There are no TVs in the 2 bedrooms. But it is pet friendly, clean and good value.
House is good and a lot of space. The master shower is very slick and slippery. Other than that it was all good and would stay there again.

We stayed at this property in 2025, and it was fine. But it really went downhill in the past year. The inside of the house was clean, but the outside needs a lot of work. The screen on the door of the atrium was busted, and the pool was filthy. It actually turned green while we were there, so it was unusable. When it rained, first, the garage flooded. After the 2nd rainstorm, The water flooded into the middle bedroom. Since the forecast called for 8 more days of rain, we need to leave. We were worried about mold... Although we had reserved the property until May 28, 2026, we left 8 days early! VRBO did not even give us half of our money back, which was wrong because it was not our fault that the residence was flooding. The owner must have known about the flooding as there was a 4 foot high wall of sandbags along one wall in the garage. I do not recommend this property until the flooding issues are rectified.
Pros : The house was very clean and had such a beautiful layout! We found the beds very comfortable and the bathroom sizes perfect. We loved being able to spend time together cooking in the large kitchen. The living space was comfortable and the laundry machines in the garage were nice. We liked that the house was tucked away and provided privacy. Quiet neighbors as well!Cons : Due to the time of the year the pool was very dirty and there were worms hanging from the ceiling all over in the pool area. The rental manager did answer quickly and sent someone over to clean the pool. He was gracious and explained the reasoning. Unfortunately, the pool became dirty hours later from the trees. The pool area appeared very dirty and previous renters did not take trash out of the pool area. The grills were dirty from previous renters and did not work the best. It was also hard to cook meals as there was not much for cookware. We had local friends bring pots and pans and we purchased a few things such as a can opener.

From the owner: Thank you for your detailed feedback and for your kind words regarding the cleanliness, comfort, and privacy of our home! We are glad you enjoyed the beautiful layout and large kitchen. We sincerely apologize for the seasonal challenges with the pool area and the debris from the trees; as you mentioned, we did provide a discount for this inconvenience and sent a cleaner over immediately to assist. We have also shared your comments regarding the grill and cookware with our local team to ensure our kitchen is fully stocked and outdoor spaces are pristine for future stays. We appreciate your input and hope to host you again!
The house is big with lots of room for a family. Everything needed to cook is available in the kitchen. Beds are very comfortable. Plenty of bath towels and also four beach towels. Floats are available to use for the pool. A few boogie boards are in the garage. The Rockport Beach was so amazing for our grandkids. It was ten dollars for a day pass. Something to note if you have a very small dog is the holes in the metal part of the fence may not keep them contained. The yard does not have much grass and there are grass burr bushes scattered in the backyard, so wear shoes! But, it was nice to have a little space for our dog to stretch her legs. There is a little “hut” across the street that sells eggs and pastries from a local farm.
The house was clean and so was the pool. The screen around the pool definitely helps with the mosquitoes. Great location just down the road from cove harbor where most guides in Rockport launch from. Far enough out of town that it’s very quiet but 10-15 minutes away from restaurants and stores.
