The Space:
Kiwi Farm Cabin 2 sits in the quiet suburban neighbourhood of Waitoki, just 36 minutes from Auckland. A vibrant city, also known as the "city of sails" boasts a spectacular waterfront, a magnificent skyline, and is surrounded by stunning beaches like Browns Bay, Mairangi Bay, Muriwai Beach, Orewa Beach, and Red Beach.

Making it an ideal coastal getaway in the area. The retreat is located behind the barn, offering a peaceful and secluded setting. Not far from the fun, on a beautiful piece of land facing north, that offers breathtaking views of lush pastures, fresh air, and the serenity of suburbia.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).

If you plan to spend your tiny house New Zealand retreats here, we advise that you bring your basic necessities, such as food and water during your stay with us. Thank you.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please note that there will be a second tiny house called "Kiwi Farm Cabin 1" that sit on the same property. If you want to book in groups, please contact your land host 24 hrs in advance to make arrangements.

In addition, please advise that there will be some animal and agricultural noise during your stay with us as we are a working farm that cares for crops and animals.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings, except for some areas with electric fences.

Furthermore, guests have the opportunity to indulge in a delightful outdoor bath complete with both hot and cold shower options. (This will be available end of March 2024)

Farm guidelines

- Farm experience is subject to the host's availability.
- Always remember to shut the gates before entering and leaving the paddocks
- Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission
- We ask guests to keep a safe distance from farm animals as they are easily agitated
- We also ask guests not to feed farm animals as they are on specific diets for their health

Important note:

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
