This little cabin is a peaceful haven on a island populated by the loveliest people you could ever hope to meet - smiles and chit chats available everywhere. It was our first visit to Cortes Island and we fell in love with the place. We look forward to the next chance to visit.

Great cabins, great stay

Our party that stayed in the cabins loved it. We rented the whole property - main house and the two cabins and had an amazing time. Close to the shops, great amenities on the property.

I booked this place in October with my wife and toddler. The little cabin (and island) exceeded our already high expectations. It's located close to groceries a and playground. The cabin was warm, clean and comfortable and our host was responsive and accommodating.

Had a great stay at the Charming cabin on Candice's property with our two dogs. The physical location is walking distance to the general store, coop and coffee store. The overall island location is great for exploring. Kitchen is well equipped, the sauna is great, and the fire pit and table are a wonderful spot to unwind in the evening. Great stay and would return

Our host was helpful and accommodating and we loved the outdoor sitting area. Be aware that the second bedroom is a low-ceiling loft accessed by quite a steep ladder . . . we used the pullout couch instead ...

A Quiet Slice of Paradise

Beautiful property. We were initially drawn to this listing because they allowed pets, but after staying here, we came back a second time! It fits our family of three perfectly. The added touches of an outdoor couch and gas fired coffee table were awesome -- best seat in the house! Also, important for the traveling dogs - this property is fully fenced. Upon entry, you close the gate behind you and Fido can explore freely without getting lost or hurt. Our dog was in heaven! Thank you for everything Candice -- we will be back!

Wonderful place

The "cabin" is a beautiful small house that looks like it was built very recently. Lots of natural light, a big kitchen, and a very private feeling covered patio with a gas fireplace. The loft works ok for sleeping but the ceiling is low up there and it would be greatly improved with some curtains to block the early morning sun - and maybe some privacy curtains as well to separate that space from the rest of the house. The location is great, we loved being able to walk to the coop cafe and it is a short drive from a bunch of trails and beaches. We could hear our neighbours from the other cabins when they were outside but the cabins are spaced out enough that everyone has their own space and it was a nice friendly feeling. We would definitely stay here again!

The cabin is exactly as presented in the photos. It is a nice place for a couple or small family to gather. It is quiet, with a short walk to two stores and a cafe. A longer walk takes you to trails where you can explore the beach or the lake. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to cook a large meal. The outdoor sitting space is the highlight of this property! Whether on the patio or out under the stars, you have a fireplace or fire pit option to ensure you are warm while you gaze at the Milky Way.
