There is no direct access to the beach..you need to walk at least a half a mile. Request new sheets, the ones we had were so scratchy and old.

Thank you for your review of Michael's Beach Place at Shoreline Ridge. We're sorry the lack of direct beach access was an inconvenience; the property does require about a half-mile walk to reach the sand and we'll make sure the listing clarity is reviewed. We also apologize the sheets felt scratchy — we've shared your feedback with our housekeeping team and the owner so the linens can be replaced. We appreciate your comments and hope to welcome you back to the Oregon coast.

With the spectacular ocean view, well designed floor plan and proximity to restaurants and shopping, this condo is one of the best we have stayed in. It was well equipped and comfortable. Beach access was either a few blocks south walk or drive or a couple of blocks north to a short hike. Then one could walk for miles on the beach. We came mainly for birding and Newport is a convenient location for birding from Waldport up to Lincoln City. We hope to return to this condo next year.

This is a beautiful property, with stunning views of the ocean and lighthouse. We had easy access to Nye Beach and the property ensured we had everything we needed to have family meals, and together time to play games or watch a movie. There were also enough bedrooms and bathrooms that we each had our own space for sleeping and getting ready.

Great View - a few plumbing problems

Amazing views of the coast. Cleanliness was okay, we had some issues with the bath tub faucet and toilet seat. They were quick to send someone to check it out and the hosts were quick to respond to concerns.
