Great place! I booked this last minute and wasn't expecting to find anything good but this place was available and right on the river. It was exactly what we needed. It was clean and comfortable. The A/C was so nice to have as it was so hot outside. I enjoyed listening to the river while having coffee on the deck in the morning. Also a great location and easy access to RMNP.

Loved being able to walk out the back door and you're right on Fall River - plenty of chairs to sit in and enjoy plus a fire pit to use between 2pm-11pm (we didn't use). Convenient to hwy 34 Fall River RMNP entrance including the Fall River visitor center & restaurant, and back to town. It's a quieter/quicker way to enter park vs main hwy 36 RMNP entrance, basically gets you to the same spots including Bear Lake easily. Recommend taking Old Fall River Road up to Alpine Visitor Center (one way dirt road, very scenic) and then take Trail Ridge Road back down. Towels, bedding were good, beds comfortable; kitchen not big, but equipment stocked nicely; wifi worked fine. 3 level config a bit strange - one bedroom upstairs with a bathroom, other bedroom in a lower level but use the bathroom on the main level, but not a problem. Found an issue with a door handle and a light bulb after evening arrival, Calla and Brian responded after hours quickly and fixed them promptly, much appreciated!

We loved the location and its quiet homey vibes. It was clean and comfortable as expected. We enjoyed the surrounding beauty, especially the unit’s proximity to the river, happily beyond the noise and traffic of the town. In small ways this property could be improved. It took two calls and two days to get sufficient flatware in the kitchen. Lamps in the bedroom (as opposed to overhead lignts) would correct the cold, sterile lighting of the bedrooms. And most of all, the bedrooms need at least one chair each! Having no place to sit at all, unless one goes up or down the steep staircase to the living area is quite inconvenient. In general, this is a fine place that would be better with a little attention.

Great place, with only a couple of exceptions

Overall the accommodations were nice, with only a few hiccups that I hope can be corrected for future guests: the upstairs bedroom thermostat was not functioning, average temp of 63; the dishwasher is missing the "circulator arm" in the bottom of the machine (we ended up hand washing the dishes); saucepans would have been nice to have; the cookie sheet was too large to fit into the oven; only salt, pepper and olive oil were provided, no other spices (which i totally understand). If folks aren't planning to cook, most of that is not a big deal. Office staff was fantastic - provided extra coffee pods when needed and band-aids, as well.
