Escape to Boulder Bay in this picturesque log cabin just steps from Big Bear Lake and surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. With lake views, multiple decks, a cozy stone fireplace and the forest right behind the property, it's a peaceful retreat for families, friends and guests traveling with dogs.

The Space
This spacious 1,600+ sq. ft. cabin features soaring ceilings, large windows and plenty of comfortable space to gather together. Relax around the stone wood-burning fireplace, enjoy the lake and mountain views or settle in for a movie after a day exploring Big Bear. Upstairs, the loft provides an additional hangout area with seating, a TV and Pac-Man arcade game. The kitchen and dining area make meals at the cabin easy, with plenty of space for the group to gather.

Outside, relax on one of the multiple decks, fire up the gas BBQ and enjoy the peaceful setting with the forest behind you and Big Bear Lake nearby.

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Turn the thermostat to 55 degrees. Do not turn off heaters, may result in frozen pipes. Cabins with a hot tub must have jets shut off, cover on and locked. Wash, dry, and put away all dishes.
Remove all trash and take to the appropriate trash site location. See confirmation for address. Trash removal is the City/County Law and not our rule.
Text us at 909-403-3217 upon departure and leave the name of the cabin. Report any damages or information we should be aware of about the property.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Wash all dishes.
Per City/County ordinance, garbage must be taken by the guest to one of the locations listed on your confirmation.

Beautiful property! We really enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and an enjoyable location. It’s a little challenging to find and especially in the dark, but everything else was wonderful! We would definitely stay again in the future.

Lakeview Lodge - A Great Place to Stay!

We had a fantastic time staying at Lakeview Lodge. The cabin was exactly as pictured on the website! It was conveniently located to all the sites and attractions Big Bear has to offer but still provided a secluded location to relax and take in the beautiful views and surrounding landscape.

Great cabin and amenities

Very nice cabin, clean and inviting. Staff were excellent with directions and support. I would recommend Cool Cabins to my friends. The only thing to improve is the stove and oven. Seems like gas lines are not sufficient as it took a long time to bake in oven and had to turn stove up to 7-8 to cook anything. Everything else was awesome!

Gorgeous Lakeview Home

This home is beautiful! Perfectly located, comfy beds, lots of space, great views, tasteful decor. Kitchen has dinnerware, flatware, pots/pans, etc. Bring your own spices, oil, coffee, etc. Rental agency was prompt, professional and easy to work with. We loved our stay there.

Peaceful Getaway

The staff at Cool Cabins are top notch! Communication was excellent, kind and compassionate. The "lodge" is gorgeous! It has a Hallmark Movie vibe. The lake and mountain views were the best therapy to bring rest to our weary souls. The swing out front was a delightful little adventure adding to the enjoyment of taking in natures beauty, especially the gentle stream that is heard flowing off in the distance. Our memorable experience has us searching our calendar for our next visit. We found our "happy place" in Big Bear!
