Beautiful cottage set in quiet surroundings, as described in the listing, fully functional kitchen/bbq which we used for almost all of our vacation meals gathered around a massive island to dine on. Plenty of room and seating to sit back and relax, we enjoyed the variety of games and completed a puzzle. Relaxed in the included hot tub. Bedrooms were well appointed and comfy. Communication was prompt and courteous from our host Derek. 30 minutes to Sauble, 35 minutes to Tobermory and included a beach day right in Beautiful Lions Head at the clean fully, serviced beach. Would recommend this property to all.

This property is clean and well-maintained and situated on a quiet road near to the gorgeous bay. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and there was coffee available. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was adequate enough for our family of four but larger groups or non-family groups will definitely find this be a pinch point as there is only one bathroom and no powder room. There is great outdoor space for sitting, eating, hot tubbing, and cooking as well as a fire pit and plenty of dry wood available. The only issues we had during our stay, were that there was inadequate dish soap and dishwasher detergent supplies which Derek was very apologetic for and offered to cover the cost of what we purchased. Also note that while they do supply bath towels, there are no face towels or wash towels supplied. There was also only one dish towel for the kitchen which was not very clean at the end of a 7 night stay with children when there is no laundry available to wash anything. We ended up purchasing some items and using the laundromat which is 30 mins away so it was a quite inconvenient. Overall the stay was very pleasant and the property was very comfortable. We had a great week.
