The villa was just as pictured and very clean. Check in and check out was easy. We really appreciated the binder filled with suggestions of local attractions, restaurants, and resort info. We also enjoyed the tasteful seasonal decor that made it feel homey.

The space is beautiful and thankfully pretty secluded — many twisty roads to get there. Very quiet. Nice neighbors.Caution: rental management requires their own signed rental agreement via email attachment rather than through VRBO — These emails landed in my junk box and I didn’t know to hunt for them. A) I thought VRBO agreement covered this and B) VRBO cautions to use only VRBO for communication.

The house is truly amazing and we are so glad you enjoyed it. Future guests, if you read the listing closely, we specifically call out that we require an additional rental agreement to be signed. Vrbo is just a listing site. They do not cover absolutely everything necessary when it comes to the nuances of staying in Galena, our homes, or our practices - it’s a very easy E document to sign. If you share your email that you use on a regular basis this should not be an issue.

The place was clean and had excellent mattresses. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the presence of tissues! The only complaint was the lack of the umbrella on the outside table as we needed the shade it would have provided.
