Beautiful old home with lots of charm. Great having a bathroom in both bedrooms! The sun porch is divine for your morning coffee and watching the gulls. Beds were comfy and wonderful kitchen if you want to cook. For us a washer and dryer is also a nice feature.Overall, lovely stay.

Misty Moon is one of the best VRBO homes I have ever stayed. It’s a fabulous place and so well stocked. The weather had been quite rainy prior to our stay but we had a wonderful time watching all the birds swimming and bathing in the yard. This was a four generation “all girls” mini vacation. Thank you for sharing your awesome home!

Beautifully decorated, comfortable, well stocked.We loved the fact that it was tucked away but still on Main Street and easily accessible to restaurants and coffee shops.

The Perfect Nook

The Misty moon cottage on Chincoteague was the most delightful rental home I’ve ever stayed in. It is decorated with beautiful, live plants, accent, wallpaper, rustic, and classic pictures and lovely furniture. We enjoyed the front porch and the side porch for morning coffee and evening wine. The TV on the side screened in porch was a plus. The house was so clean and well taken care of, and the landscaping was divine.. I hope I get the opportunity to stay here again

Delightful Beach Weekend

We wanted to experience Chincoteague. This was our first stay. The location by downtown was excellent. We were able to walk to downtown shops and park.My wife was delighted with the kitchen, which was fully equipped, much better than some places we have stayed at. The Misty Moon also provides linen, which many Chincoteague locations do not. This is a superior house at Chincoteague in our opinion.The staff communicated by text throughout the stay, including letting us know that the house was ready and we could check in early on our arrival date. The text updates were a positive service.The only problem is that the Misty Moon is located behind two other houses. The mailbox is on Main Street, but the check-in instructions did not specify that I needed to turn into a lane between two houses to reach the Misty Moon. The location off Main Street is actually a great feature, since the house is downtown, but not affected by nighttime traffic.We will definitely rebook at this location when we return to Chincoteague.
