We loved it. The space was just perfect for the 2 of us, it would have been nice to have a small table with an extra chair inside to play cards or games or something if it rained and we couldn't sit outside. The shared beach and dock access was great and not too far away. The neighbors were lovely people and everyone was very friendly. Ron the property manager was a great guy! We didn't need him for anything during our stay but he was very friendly and it was great to be able to talk to him.

The host on location was extremely helpful and friendly. The owner, though remote was timely and effective in thier communication. The cabin is not directly on the river. The pictures show the shared space that is a short walk from the cabin. The outdoor space is directly on the roadway. Its a good spot to stay as a home base for day trips but not as a stay to relax space.

Overall a good experience for us in a great area!Pros: Great location on the Trent River Nice shared beach and dock with option to use paddle boards which my partner enjoyedAir conditioned was a much needed amenity in the heatRon was a very helpful onsite contact Located close to both Campbellford and Warkworth which were adorable small towns with great shops, cafes, dining, and activities Appreciated it was pet friendly so we could bring our two small dogs We appreciated the provided k cups for coffee! Only small negatives were a few minor cleanliness issues that could’ve been better - some dead bugs in drawers, a few dirty pots/pans, and a bit of a mildew-y smell in the washroom Shower had a slanted roof so challenging for my partner who is 6’ as he had to crouchWe were told on day two that beach was not pet friendly - which we totally didn’t mind bringing our dogs back to the cabin but wished we had known in advance Overall the stay was pleasant and relaxing in a good location and we appreciated being guests here!

Short getaway from the City

The cabin is really cute and has everything that you would need. The property manager Ron was great! He does a really good job taking care of the properties and making guests feel welcome. I felt very safe being there alone.

small cabin

The cabin wasn't bad. The shower needs shelving so you don't have to bend over to pick up shampoo, etc. Not good for elderly people or ones with a bit of a disability.

Percy Boom stay

Property as expected, clean and well stocked with essentials. Ron the property manager was great! Location can't be beat! Only issue was the rotten egg smell from the water, but well water can have this smell, so not much you can do.

Cabin 7 is a redone fish hut. Its great for 1 to 2 people. I would suggest this if you are using it for rest and food. Its all one room with a bathroom off to the side. I did get to clean it a bit the first night. Just a little bug hunting. Again it's an old fish hut. The other cottages on the property are for more the city or big family group people. The property is well maintained; brushes are trim the flower beds are beautiful and the property is clean. Yay Ron!!!!! He so great. He's the property manager and maintains the property he will stop and talk with you. You will see him working morning to night. He takes great pride in is work. Any time you text him with something he will be knoking on your door in a short time. He checks in and always friendly. Contacting the host. I dont think I actually was messaging him. It was mostly Christy. Her and Ron are what make this place. Both very attentive to there work. I realy had no interaction with cleaning staff. They get your place clean and ready. Then clean it when your done. The sheets were clean and same for the cloths and towels. The advertisement that I had seen said on site laundry. That's in the other cabbins not number 7. There is no shared fire pit every cottage gets there own. The one I had seen for this also said shared fire pit. But bonus you get your own. The shared dock is beautiful and the little beach is cute. Im already looking to book for next year. Look forward to seeing you again next year Ron.

Not recommend due to its negative points /Issues: . Noise and dust due to new construction at the site . No direct or easy access to lake and it's view . Wrong instructions. Couldn't get inside the cabin at arrival due to wrong door key info provided by the host. . There are points of entry for ants or bugs into the cabin. We were thinking of leaving the place early without staying at night affecting or ruining our vacation.
