Very happy with everything ,bathroom could be a bit tricky to negotiate for older travellers. The fire, space, and quiet were great. A small bbq would of been nice to have

Thank you for your feedback and I’m glad you enjoyed your stay.
Re bbq I did have one for a while but people were leaving in extremely dirty each time so unfortunately I had to remove it.
Gorgeous, perfectly located, comfy cottage in stunning setting. Make sure to put aside time to follow Emily's directions for the walk to Margaret River (behind the property, 500m away) and from there it is an absolutely beautiful walk.
We had a lovely stay here. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen well equipped, porch was nice to sit out on. Would recommend for a quiet, peaceful staff very close to Margaret River
Beautiful property, excellent host, and so close to town but with such country vibes you would never know. Kangaroos hopping past the verandah in the evening and morning, lots of lovely birds in the bird bath to watch and a nice wood fire with shelves of books to curl up and read.
We had such a nice winter weekend with our dog, a storm and a fireplace. The perfect place to bunker down between showers. The kitchen was well stocked for some nice breakfasts with the best pan I've ever used for scrambled eggs. Close to town and nice to watch the kangaroos and neighbors horses. Looking forward to spending another weekend there in the future

Thank you for your lovely review.
Hopefully you will be back again soon.
Has everything we needed. Great fireplace. The property is right in the bush with birds all around. The outdoor bathroom might not be for everyone, but met our needs. Comfortable beds. Might book again and bring the kids next time.
Stay was amazing with everything that we needed provided. Emily was very nice.

Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
I feel really bad writing this review as usually I am very happy with my stays but unfortunately the stay did not meet my expectations in terms of cleanliness, the stove was extremely dirty, the toaster had cobwebs on it. There was no security on the windows or doors and the outside open toilet and shower was so inappropriate and completely unsuitable to myself and my travel companion as we are both elderly women. The advertisement was misleading and we felt completely robbed of our intended experience and holiday. I did ask the owner to refund some of my money as an act of goodwill but didnt receive anything or any response to that. So I would not recommend this stay to any older person at all Annette

Again I am sorry that you didn’t enjoy your stay.
I endeavour to make the stay as nice as possible setting fire ready to light, leaving wood, wine, chocolates and fresh organic lemons.
Which you don’t mind using over your stay.
I try hard to have a lot of photos and write up as I know the house is quite quirky and unique and isn’t for everyone.
The bathroom is in photos and is mentioned in the write up.
As I mentioned to you I was happy to organise a refund if you had any photos and you never replied.
I am sorry again that you didn’t enjoy your time. Hopefully your next holiday is better.
Please anyone booking in the future look at the listing and photos to see if it is place you like and suitable for your needs.
Don’t just book because it is cheaper.
Was great, but my partner and I found bathroom steps a bit difficult. But we are not youthful gazelles, place was rustic, very clean.. loads of books bushland quite, beds comfy…. Arm chairs great…
The house was excellent. Gave us some great tips for around the region. The house was just beautiful perfect for our family Dairy Queen and plenty of items to make out visit comfortable
Accommodation was great. Loved seeing the birds and kangaroos from the back deck everyday. We had two very hot days and was worried there being no air-conditioning but the place stayed so nice and cool. Outdoor bathroom was a highlight. Had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
