Loved the resort even though all restaurants were closed after hurricane. Condo is gorgeous with beautiful views. Beach essentials are all there, more than you need! Golf carts can drive you down to beach. One hotel shares beach and they have a bar and restaurant right on the beach. Loved our stay!

This is our second stay at Hanalei Bay Resort. The property is beautiful, we love the walk to the beach, the pool and the lovely view from lanai. Kitchen was fully stocked, the resort barbecues were in good condition and all of the cart drivers were friendly and provided excellent service. Our contact person responded to all of our concerns almost immediately. Our only issue is that the lanai’s have no outdoor lighting. I would stay here again should we return to Kauai.

It was a really beautiful location. Our kids loved the pool. Having beach access without dealing with public parking made beach trips easy with kids. The condo was roomy and had the essentials. We were thankful for the washer and dryer. The condo was clean overall. (One set of sheets did have some stains and a hole, but they were clean. It’s just something small the owners might want to fix for future guests.) It was a great property with many perks. I would definitely recommend this condo to other renters.

Nice condo, great view, well managed.

We love HBR; this was our second time renting there and our first in this particular condo. The check-in was smooth and friendly, as was the transportation from the parking lot via golf cart (we had a young gentleman named Wolf). The condo was in good shape, furnished nicely, and well-stocked with TP, towels, kitchen items, as well as nice beach chairs and the like. Our only communication with the condo's management company was via email, but they were prompt, friendly and professional. The view from this condo is quite excellent, particularly from the lanai, the larger bedroom, and the kitchen and living room areas (a little limited from the smaller bedroom). I think we only had one minor issue upon initial entry, which was with the a/c in the larger bedroom; it apparently only operates via a remote, and the remote wasn't working. Luckily the main room had the same brand a/c unit, and the remote from that one could also operate the a/c in that bedroom. Overall, an excellent stay; we hope to return again.
