The home itself was beautifully decorated, well supplied & immaculate. Our dog had a good sized yard to roam in. We found the location not to be of our liking. We like to walk in the morning and also take our dog for a walk. There were no sidewalks to walk on so it would have been too dangerous. Also, the ventilation in the main bedroom was non-existent. It was very stuffy even with the fan. It was dangerous leaving the property in the car as it was difficult to see traffic approaching from the driver’s side. Did not use hot tub due to bad weather. We ran out of hot water one morning after my husband took a very quick shower and I was left with cold water.

It was exactly what we expected and wanted. We had a wonderful time, exploring the Taos area with our safe space for our Collie to relax, while we were out. The highlight was the Hot Tub, allowing us to relax deeply and daily. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We enjoyed our time at Casitas Encantadas very much. It was very convenient to the town of Taos. Our pup loved the fenced in back yard and we enjoyed the hot tub on the back porch under the start. Easy to check in and the property manager was so attentive to our needs. Would stay there again.

Very well-appointed cottage close to town. The hot tub was amazing and with a beautiful view. Bathtub was great also and with plenty of hot water. The fireplace in the living room was still not working but we knew that before we booked.

Quiet and Cozy Stay

Casitas Encantadas exceeded our expectations. For our family it was the perfect in town retreat, convenient while also feeling very secluded. Rustic aesthetic, yet very well appointed and nicely maintained. We were thrilled to stay there!

Taos Spring Break Trip

Great spot to stay for spring break ski trip. Fenced in yard for the dogs was great, hot tub was nice and warm, house was well maintained with all the necessities. Will definitely consider staying again next year!
