We had a great stay at The Barn. It was the perfect place to stay for the Ironman. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home and the beds were very comfortable. Towels, sheets, and entire house new and spotless. Thanks for a great stay.

The Barn is my new favorite place on VRBO. The interior and the exterior were beautifully maintained and the hosts even set a campfire for us. It's a recent build that still smells of fresh pine and the kitchenware, towels and bedding were all top level. We visited the Olympic sites close by and the town of Lake Placid was just a short drive away. Communication was excellent and it was a fabulous week!

The Barn was a wonderful place to stay! Exactly as described, it had everything someone would need in their home away from home. The Barn was clean, comfortable and inviting. We felt instantly at home when we walked in. The outdoor fire pit had wood provided. The location was perfect. Close to Whiteface Mountain, Ausable Chasm and Lake Placid. Trisha was easy to reach out to and quick to respond to any questions we had. Wonderful place and wonderful host!

My family had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was very comfortable and so easy to get to the mountain for snowboarding and skiing fun.

Perfect for a quick ski getaway

We stayed for a couple nights - cozy cabin in the perfect location for a quick ski getaway. Close to Whiteface and Lake Placid. Loved that there were board games for the family to play.

Great trip to the mountains!

We had a wonderful time in the Barn cabin, it was very comfortable and clean, it was well stocked and everything we ere looking for for a couple quick nights way. Check in & finding it was very easy with the instructions provided even though we arrived after dark. Would definitely recommend!

Great stay at the barn

Perfect place everything‘s beautiful and brand. New beds are way comfortable. Nice little TV nook to relax. Awesome kitchen. It was just fabulous Adirondack cowboy

Incredible! Do not miss this opportunity!!

What hooked me on this place was the bio from the host Trish and Steve about the transformation of their property and what it means to their family. Growing up for as long as I can remember my family would make our annual trip to the Lake Placid area and stay at the now closed KOA on Fox Farm Rs off Rt 86. Now I have the opportunity to share that same love of the outdoors with a family of my own and this is the perfect place to do it!! We spent our time hiking Cascade Mountain, swimming and fishing nearby. Check in was piece painless and the hosts (Trish and Steve) were quick to answer any questions. For a family of 5 ‘The Barn’ was the amazing outpost (retreat) for hiking, fishing, swimming and close enough to town to grab a bite to eat or do some shopping. *”The Barn” - Brand new! Spotless, corner to corner, fixture to fixture.Just beautiful and the kids absolutely loved this place as they had plenty of space to spread out. *Amenities - Everything you need! Fully stocked. Nothing we needed that wasn’t already there. *Location - Ummhh it’s gorgeous here Centrally located for unlimited hiking trails, swimming and fishing. Wilmington is just minutes away for a small town feel and then you have Lake Placid 15 minutes down the road. Fantastic swimming hole 5 minute drive away near the Flume Falls off 86. I am sure I’ll left some stuff out but you’ll have to explore some of that for yourself!! Do yourself a favor, just book it! Happy Trails…

Fully stocked kitchen - great location for the general area. Very nice outdoor area. Quiet area. Good communication with host. Beds, linens and towels were in great condition. Appliances were all up to date and furnishings were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!
