Lakefront Cabin < 3 Mi to Dtwn Eureka Springs!

Thank you, Russell! Short, sweet, and 5 stars ⭐️ We’re so glad you had a great stay at Shady Pines. Come back anytime for another little lakeside escape! 🌲✨

Thank you so much! We absolutely love hearing that Shady Pines became the destination rather than just the place you stayed between adventures. Sometimes the best Eureka Springs itinerary is no itinerary at all, just a cozy cabin, a good night’s sleep, and plenty of time to enjoy the woods and lake. We’re especially happy to hear you loved the decor and that the main bedroom bed earned such high marks! Thank you for choosing Shady Pines for the peaceful getaway you needed. We’d love to welcome you back anytime you’re ready for another round of doing absolutely nothing. 🌲✨

Thank you, Kim! We’re thrilled you enjoyed your stay at Shady Pines. Between the lake views, a comfortable cabin, and the frogs putting on their nightly concert, it sounds like you got the full Lake Lucerne experience. We’d love to host you again for another front-row seat to nature’s evening performance.

Thank you so much for the 5 stars! We’re glad you enjoyed the cabin, all the amenities, and being close to town while still tucked away in the woods. Shady Pines does like to play a little hide-and-seek on that first arrival! 🌲 We appreciate the feedback and will take another look at our arrival instructions to see where we can make that first trip in even easier. And we agree, daylight definitely helps when navigating the winding roads of Eureka for the first time! We’d love to have you back.

Thank you. I are glad you enjoyed your stay.

Thank you so much! We are so happy you enjoyed your stay. Come back any time.

Thank you so much for the kind words, Catherine! We love hearing when Shady Pines feels even better in person. The lake views in the spring really are something special, especially with those cool Ozark breezes drifting through the trees. 🌲 We’re also glad you enjoyed the stocked kitchen and little coffee setup. There’s something deeply comforting about not having to immediately hunt down caffeine like a woodland raccoon on a mission. ☕️ Thanks again for staying with us, and we’d love to host you back at Shady Pines anytime!

That peaceful lake hush is one of our favorite features too.We really appreciate the suggestion about hooks. There are actually hooks located behind the door in the bathroom. Connie, thank you for such a wonderful review! We’re delighted Shady Pines delivered the perfect blend of peaceful hideaway and easy access to all the quirky charm of downtown Eureka Springs. One of our favorite things about the cabin is that it somehow manages to be equal parts colorful, cozy, and a bit Eureka-vibe. We like to think the decor is having as much fun as our guests. 😊 We’re so glad you found time to slow down on the deck, soak in the lake views, and let the trees work their magic. Thanks again for staying with us, and whenever you’re ready, Shady Pines will be here for you and your guests!

We are so glad you and your family enjoyed your stay. You are welcome back any time!

We sincerely appreciate your thoughtful feedback and kind words! It’s wonderful to hear that you enjoyed the house, the location, and the kitchen’s features. We also value your note regarding the twin beds and will explore adjustments to enhance comfort. For clarification, the firepit is a shared amenity, located just a brief walk from the house near the gazebo by the lake. We’ll be updating the listing to make this clearer for future guests. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us. We would be delighted to welcome you back anytime!

Thank you for your feedback—we’re so glad you found the cabin cute and enjoyed your overall stay! We appreciate you calling out a few of these items. The downstairs bathroom is definitely a more compact space. Many cabins and homes in this area have a bit of that “quirky charm” in their layouts— it’s also why we don’t advertise as accessible. That said, we completely understand your observation. I also wanted to clarify for future guests that the lake can be used for fishing, and there are kayaks available on the property along with life vests and paddles. While it’s not ideal for swimming, many guests enjoy getting out on the water this way—even in those colder winter months. As for the tall living room window, that’s actually one of our favorite features of the cabin. We’ve intentionally kept it open to showcase the natural surroundings — it’s like the outdoors decided to hang out inside for a bit. We truly appreciate your feedback.

From the owner: Thank you for your helpful feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the cabin’s peaceful setting and cleanliness. The recent power outage was due to a storm, and we’ll be adding a few extra flashlights around the home for convenience. I’ll also double-check the stove burner and ensure towel hooks are easy to locate. I appreciate your comments and hope to welcome you back soon.
