The pictures published look like they were taken quite some time ago, compared to today. It is tired and could do with a refresh, particularly the shower area. However, equipment and furniture was good for the size of our group. The property is well located.
We totally enjoyed our stay. All the communication with the host was done through VRBO messaging (I presume it was largely AI driven) but it was very effective and efficient. The house is pristine clean, comfortable and quite charming. The location was great, walkable to Barangaroo, Circular Quay, Darling Harbor and the Rocks. I would definitely stay again.

Sydney long weekend
Highly recommended, it was in a great position, very tidy and clean.
This place was lovely and perfectly located! Our group had a great stay. But do pay attention to that note about the steep stairs. If anyone in your group has mobility issues, this probably isn’t the place for you. Getting luggage up to the second story bedroom was both weightlifting and cardio. I appreciated that after a long flight! But be prepared.

The house was picture perfect. But once reality set in, we realised the house was not as good as we had expected. Yes the stairs are steep. And there are 3 flights of them for whoever has the top bedroom and anyone who wants to use the rooftop space. They are narrow and the 2 steps into the bathroom from the tiny landing, made it problematic. I was worried that someone would forget about those steps and trip. After going up and down a few times, the novelty had worn off and getting up to the bedrooms and outdoor rooftop space became a chore. The beds were really comfortable but the room we slept in had 14 pillows and cushions on the bed. Looks amazing in the photos but taking most of them off to sleep in the bed meant having to use up valuable space in a small bedroom. It was great being so close to the Rocks and harbour area, but the trade off is the noise coming from the street when trying to sleep. Plus so many rules around staying in this house made it for an anxious stay for me. My son went out drinking so I was worried he would wake up the neighbours when he came back or break a leg on the stairs to/from the bathroom. Fortunately he did neither. It would have been nice to have some milk in the fridge and normal TV channels on the TVs. Overall a lovely and beautifully decorated house. Nice view of the harbour - get to see it while you can. But for me and my family, it was not worth the stress or the money to stay here.
