High view and top seclusion

Our second stay at The AspasIa was just as luxurious as the first time when we were amazed by the views from the large full height patio doors and furnished balcony over the Andaman. Sounds of jungle below in the morning is something not to miss. Very friendly and helpful staff who brings a smile to all. Simply perfect !

Excellent resort

Huge suite's with big balcony and fully fitted kitchen, friendly staff, reasonable breakfast, beautiful view over jungle and sea. Got an upgrade from deluxe seaview to 1 bedroom suite without asking for it. Very good value for money (in July that is). Stayed 5 days longer than initially planned. Only minus is the steep climb to the hotel.

extremely disappointing.pls read

well i gonna start with the good first if you are lucky enough just like us you ll get a wonderful sea view from the balcony breakfast buffet is really good the bad the hotel is on top of a hill.after a long day at the beach under a hammering sun it is very painful to get up there our room was on the 3rd floor so even more to climb because the hotel is in the middle of the jungle you can expect to get spiders (big one tarantula size) lizards, ants and other bugs in your room we got bitten every night waking up with big swollen bits all over our body the worst thing is that each room or apartment in the hotel is separated with a large wooden door you can hear absolutely everything from next door (tv,people chatting,stepping eating) our neighbor were up by 6am so we were awake too ive been complaining but the there is nothing the hotel can do about it i dont blame my neighbors as they were just enjoying their holidays and not noisy at all but that wooden door is so thin this is ridiculous and last but not least room service was done for us around 4/5pm

Lovely hotel, unusual designed, close to beach

Spacey large bedroom with a view to beach from balcony. Lovel bAtheoom but needs some updating. Wifi excellent. There were lots of steps everywhere and some area were bit dark, needs take care, not suitable for anyone with walking problem. Lovely breakfast buffet with a chef who will cook freshly of your choices from the board.

Beautiful tropical retreat.

Been here before and keep coming back. I love it here, it's a tropical retreat off the beaten track but still near to Katas nightlife. A big hill to acclimatise to but I hired cheap motor bikes from the hotel. Upgraded to sea view apartment and got room 1609 right on the lower pool. It was so quiet it was almost like having a private pool. I find spa treatments expensive, massage etc compared to the village of kata. Only ate breakfast here for a similar reason. The staff are always very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Only here 3 days as I stayed 3 days at the Pacific club resort and 5* Mandarava in Karon beach. Out of all of them I still much prefer Aspasia.

Aphasia, Kata Beach

We booked two rooms - Sea View One Bedroom Suite and Seaview Room. The suites are actually in an adjoining residence called 'The Accenta' but are administered by Aphasia. We had significant problems with the A/C so after three days, they put us in another room - a Jacuzzi apartment, which was very comfortable. Generally, the service was very prompt and polite, the breakfast was very good quality too. The hotel is up a steep hill, five minutes down, 15 minutes up from the town!

Design fault in rooms = minimal sleep!!

Decent mid range hotel for thailand,good location for restaurants, shopping and entertainment and quiet during the evening. However the noise between rooms is unbearable! Had to move twice but the design of every room is such that there is a dividing wall (not just a dividing door!) Great if you have kids staying with you but a major inconvenience otherwise! So much so that my neighbours ensured I never slept later than 0630...not that they were having parties just the mere fact of them talking,coughing watching TV felt as if they were actually in my room it was that loud.

Friendly staff, good basic facilities and a very warm welcome makes u think 'Wow' I made an excellent decision but, your actual stay starts when u get to the room in my case: #1 We ordered a rollaway bed as we had our 2.5 years old with us but they said I'm gonna have to pay 1800baht for it, keep in mind I paid for rollaway bed at the time of booking to Expedia, they said we'll speak to expedia and give u a reply. Solution: After a few arguments n telling them that I'm going to ring Expedia I managed to get the bed for my little one, just over 24hours after we checked in. #2 There's no internet in the rooms, you will be lucky if you get the Internet in the room in fact very lucky. If you complain u get the standard answer we've passed your complaint to the IT manager. Solution: Their promised IT manager never bothered to turn up so there was no internet for my entire trip in the room. #3 There were so many Mosquitos in the room, they don't do anything about it. #4 Hotel is on a very steep hill I mean very steep. Overall it's a very average hotel do not expect anything outstanding. I must mention that the best thing about this hotel is "Breakfast" which was outstanding ...

Great Hotel - A Little Away From The Noise

Really liked this hotel, would make a great honeymoon retreat. Very spacious and comfortable room, well catered, breakfast was top notch. I had a 'garden view' which was nice, but I would recommend getting an 'ocean view' if you can as the view from up on the mountain is amazing! I was by myself visiting some friends and it seemed a bit of a waste to have all this space just to myself.

Lovely Hotel

We stayed for 4 nights 5 days... The beach was really nice and clean and great for a little snorkeling. The only negative thing I can say is that the direct beach access is not really suited for children or elderly people so best taking the longer route for safety purposes. The staff are nice.. some dont have good English but they do try to understand and are very helpful. Very quite location and would definitely stay there again.

Great location

Its a very nice hotel with a great location , the room is very large with a fanatsic view of a clean & an average size Balcone . The servce is quite accepatable with a nice breakfast . The area is very quite as well as the hotel itself .The only problem which faced me is the location , which is in high area from the Beach for which you hve to climb up every time yo reach there .

Most alluring balocony view

This is is perfectly my type of style, blends beautifuly into the surrounding nature. The view from my balocony which was a higher floor, was stunning and large. I stayed in a seaview suite. Breakfast was good but not great. the room was super clean!!! aircon a little noisy. Before this i stayed in a 5 star at patong, but this Aspasia hotel was much better than the 5 starin patong, i would hughly recommend this hotel. Gym and pool are actually 24 hours but it states till 7pm, this just mean there is no lifeguard after 7pm.

An hotel for a relaxing break.

Had a very relaxing break in this hotel where all staff were lovely and did best to be helpful (English not spoken well) with amenities which suited us well. Room was HUGE and the view from the large balcony was lovely. The balcony had enough overhang to give shade but you could also sit in sun if you wanted. Two pools were immaculate and the gardens were well looked after. Breakfast buffet catered for everyone - continental, cooked and asian food available. Dinner was beautifully presented and delicious. May have been slighlty dearer than eating in local restaurants but presentation made up for this. Charge included service charge - covered tipping which you would have paid outside - and a goverment tax (7%). Cocktails same as outside prices. Spa was lovely. Massage dearer than outside but facility was a lot nicer. Would return again. Guests at hotel of all nationalities. Beach not far to walk down path in grounds and much shorter and easier than the road down which was steep and windy and then 5 minute walk to beach. Air con very effective in combatting heat of 33 + degrees.

The perfect stay...

The room was great, powerful air con, big bed, great views and cleaned daily. Breakfast was included and was tasty- you could order whatever you wanted from the chef. Location was absolutely perfect. If you are looking for a quieter hotel but within walking distance of lively town aspasia is for you. You are a 5-10 min walk from Karon-kata town and 3 gorgeous beaches. There is a little walk through the jungle down from the hotel to kata beach which is beautiful. The staff were exceptional, on one day I lost my phone- the staff called round taxi services and brought it to my room! Always went the extra mile, smiley, friendly and helpful. The hotel lends mopeds at v cheap rate, great for exploring- we had no idea phuket had so many secluded, rural areas. A word of advice for those looking for authentic Thai holiday! don't stay too close to Panang beach unless you are looking to eat Big Macs, watch man united and drink jägerbombs. Kata and karon town has lovely restaurants, bars and better beaches. All in all could not fault the aspasia

Maid tried to claim my room at 945am. Told them to come back later. I left room at 10am. Put up please make up room sign. When I came back at 11pm. Room was not cleaned. Most of the staff couldn't speak English. Breakfast was not great. Would rate this a 3 star hotel

객실의 넓은 공간과 직원들 친절에는 만족하나, 시설 노후 (세면대 물 잘 안내려감, 화장실 물소리, 수도 찬물 안나옴 등) 으로 인해 전체적으로 불만족. 무엇보다도 해변으로 내려가는 길이 통행하기 적절치 않아 제일 기대했던 사항에 대해 실망했음. 해변가로 내려가는 산책로 보수는 호텔의 것이 아닌지 모르겠지만 제일 기대했던 부분이었기에 실망도 컷다.

뷰가 아주 좋음

휴식을 취하기엔 조용하고, 경치 좋고 너무 멋진 곳임.... 언덕이라, 걸어서 올라오긴 좀 힘들었지만, 해지고 난 후, 저녁에 걸어 내려가면, 야시장도 있고, 필요한 것은 거의 다 있고, 아무튼 너무 멋진 곳이였음.
